- Paul Henshaw owns one of the wildest Zed's on the planet. The time attack CCC Racing prepared Datsun 240z is powered by an 800hp turbocharged Nissan RB engine package and 6-speed sequential gearbox. We caught up with Paul at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit where he was competing in the 2019 VIC Time Attack.

Don't think I've ever seen a competitor so focused on having fun rather than actually competing, and it's this attitude that could actually get results for him. Great car by the way.
i think too many people get too serious and forget you're out there to enjoy yourself.

Love his outlook. 800bhp in a 1200kg car would be insane and his mentioning that without putting the power to the ground there is no point in stressing the engine any further. Hear that kids? Power is nothing without control.
Also requires more out of the driver.

Yeap, it is quite refreshing. I have the same outlook with the 370ztt I am building. Just about done and time for fun.

I raced a 240Z in SSCA in the early 90's. Nothing even close to this tho. That sound...wowsa. and power to weight makes for a fun ride I am sure. Wish there was more track time video. Love this alot!!!

Good for you, man. That is what HPDE (High Performance Driving Experience) is supposed to be all about .... just go have fun. I love that you’ve taken the time to add this, add that, tweak this when you want and a practical manner. I’m working on building up a ‘91 Toyota MR2 turbo (daily driver and track days) for Chuckwalla and Willow Spring (out here in CA, USA). Kudos to you. Very nice ride.

Put fuel in 30L at a time then drive till you blow the wheels off

Looks like the fenders are carbon fiber painted orange. The little vents the stood up look carbon.
The parts that are CF are CF. Everything else is steel.

Sounds like my dad playing forza, i beat your time in my stock c6 zo6, just had racing slicks, twin turbos, full weight reduction but the cars stock. Cool dad nice to see you beat my 300zx 2 classes lower than yours but yeah.

My first car was a 71 240z. Fender flared 2in. air dam corvette red, low profile donlap gt qualifiers. People would point at it when I drove by. Cam hooker headers. Love my 2003 350 twin turbo keep it under 500hp 8lbs boost. daily driver kinda.
