Your music has inspired me on so many ventures! I was on a hunt for authentic historical music in the hopes I could bring it into a mod I was hoping to make, and I haven't stopped listening lol! The Selucids was the first song I heard by you, and then Sons of Mars is still my favorite. But even so, all of your music is enshrined in talent and amazing accuracy. You deserve this!

Dude 100k is not only deserved, you should have way more. The quality of your videos, the knowledge and research and care that goes into them, is second to none on this entire website - you have the best channel on UA-cam. I hope you keep on putting out those high-quality, well-researched videos that don't necessarily get the same viewership as the epic Roman videos (though those are great too).

The Neopagan Viking music (and by extension everything Neopagan) reminds me of the Classical Renaissance, where 16th century Europeans revived classical Roman and Greek culture, but made it their own according to their needs. It diverged massively from the original in some ways, but as you state for the Neopagan music that can bring its own charm and beauty. On the other hand, the Renaissance changed people's view on ancient Rome and Greece, making it too holy, and bringing down the medieval period to a barbaric dark age, a view which still persists to this day, even though the middle ages were full of complex culture and wonders just like in antiquity.
Like that, I think the pagan revival has many beautiful and wonderful facets, but it's true that we also have to give space to what we know to be true to the age, so that distortions don't become truth. So thank you for sharing these sounds from across time and space, Farya. I was particularly touched by the Iranian music (and your mother's lovely singing, like in Tahmineh's Proposal) as it opened up the richness of the Middle East which I find to be so beautiful. I would also love to hear more Norse and Gaulish/Celtic music, but that's my North-Western European bias, so I'll leave that to you 😅 In any case, very excited for what's coming and grateful for what's already been offered (and that's many). Don't underestimate yourself so much, I would gladly support you financially through Patreon, as it is also my wish and blessing to bring these authentic sounds to the people.
And I think the homeless look looks good, been trying it out myself lately 😂 Greetings from Antwerp

As for sons of mars, this has to be one of absolute favourite compositions ever. Throughout Bulgaria and Romania, there a number of ancient Roman festivals in which I participate, sons of mars is probably THE MOST played song on these festivals. Thank you very much. The main thing is not to underestimate your talent. Your work does much more than a Zimmer composition for a Hollywood movie. Your music reminds of ancestors and family history, of a culture that we are rapidly losing in the modern world. I am Russian, and your compositions - "The Song of Igor's Campaign" and "My Mother Mary" allow me to remember my history and culture more often, remind me of who I am. This is the limit of your talent. Thank you.
P.S. If you are ever interested in the music of the Russian Cossacks, as well as spiritual and folk Russian music. I can help with examples of authentic instrumental and vocal composition. Also with literary sources.

Congralutations on 100k! It's totally deserved! I have been a fan of your channel since your second video, four years ago. I've absolutely enjoyed this journey and I'm even more excited of what it is to come. I'm also very appreciative of the way you handle and play Greek music. As for Patreon, I totally get what you mean, however I don't think anyone of those 101k subscribers don't believe you have earned this, and Patreon donations will really help you for your future plans. Remember, that if you don't want to continue, or feel like you want to take a break, you can just pause or cancel the Patreon subscriptions, or your account overall. As for your plans to work even more frequently with other musicians, I think this is an awesome idea! If I may, I would like to recommend to you a channel of a man called Στέφανος Κρασοπούλης (Which is also the name of his channel). He plays a wide array of musical instruments, from ancient lyre, aulos, diaulos, to byzantine lyra, to traditional Greek sheperd flute and gaida. I think that you will really like his channel and music. Once again, congrats on the 100k, we're already on the road to 200k!

This channel is very unique and interesting. When you say your work is aimed at making western audiences understand authentic traditional music, or that the channel showcases a curated collection of music you copied diligently; I think you are understanding yourself. You explore multiple musical cultures, multiple historical timescales and even have original compositions. To add more spice, you now have an academic series on music! This channel is literally awe-some, and I mean the 'awe' part very well!
Regarding Patreon, I can only imagine how great your compositions would be with more funding. I understand your apprehension, but if not the artificer, the money would support the art so much. There is also the fact that you sound like an approachable person one could have a very long conversation with (I know I would), so people wouldn't think twice about supporting you personally either. Much love and support from Kerala, India!

Time to update your spotify mate! Needs more songs hehe.
Also, as others said, your quality and detail to folk and ethnic music shows you really love what you are doing, and we love what you are creating. When I hear a song I have listened to all of my live in weddings or festivals and I hear a random recreation from a Canadian musician that is equally good it's really amazing - and refreshing since you provide a slight different touch.
You also cover a space that has been previously very poorly covered in youtube with lazy covers or lazy nationalistic remixes or something , which as a subscriber for some time I can clearly see you are not fond of.
Music unites, keep up the good work, much love from Greece!

Thank you for the best sounding historical music on UA-cam. For me, who studies latin and Greek in my pursuit of my desired profession, seeing you upload almost every week, specifically the Romand and Greek compositions really help with the languages and inspires me to learn more on the ways to use them.
Thank you so much for your music. Congratulations on hitting 100k subs.
Lastly, sorry, it would be interesting to see a revised version of the Caesar symphony with more latin lyrics and more length and girth in the civil war section.
