No name beer and wine is not available across Canada. Some provinces have a monopoly on liquor sales, so they would literally need to buy their own beer and wine through the province’s liquor board, if the current regulations allowed for actual beer to be sold at grocery stores (our innkeeper lobby successfully tied beer stores to hotels, but you can also get beer from the government liquor store)
