Honestly i love the sour creme. The 14% fat version is better than gay lea or dairyland. You can also replace the butter/milk in no name mac and cheese and you have a very creamy and enjoyable macaroni.
👀 my friend I also like no name. Also, in a way no name saved Loblaw as a company. In the 1970s Loblaws was really struggling. Their major competitor, Dominion, was doing much better with newer suburban stores that drew in more customers thanks to their location (remember post world war two most North Americans would move to suburban towns from the inner cities) and size. Loblaws on the other hand had outdated, older stores, mostly based in city centres and due to poor lease agreements the company couldn't close money losing locations. Dave Nichol was really the guy to turn Loblaws around with no name and President's Choice. They went from being a dying company to the largest and most significant grocer in Canada. In fact, they're pretty much the only original grocer in Ontario that's still around with Dominion and A&P being swallowed up by Metro, and other brands dying off. Also no name perogies S L A P. They taste wayyyy better than even the brand name Cheemo and aren't too far off "authentic" perogies.
the thing i notice about no name brand is that many of their products come from skorea and southeast asia. these are places we sold candu nuclear reactors to and taught them to irradiate food. so you may be staving off hunger pains but the food is dead and has no nutrition.
I just realized how half of the things mentioned in the top 10 list I’ve had. It makes sense though since no name is such a great brand.
I love it’s graphic design
If they find a way to simplify it I will die😂
Or lack thereof.

As a Canadian I can say this even in 2024 my house is full of no name products
I wish no name would come to the US.
Loblaws owns President's Choice 🇨🇦🫡
bro you've gotta make your own vanilla extract. just vodka and some vanilla beans. keep it topped up and shaken monthly and its dirt cheap.
The milk chocolate is good, ninety-nine cents for a pretty good full-sized chocolate bar is great.
If you had expensive chocolate you'd be able to tell the difference.. the no name one tastes full of sugar and less coco.
No Name is the heaven of savings on godly foods

I get no name spices but I would love the bagels or pierogies if I still ate wheat. Also used to work at Timmies.
I wonder if no name products would succeed outside of Canada, say at a Safeway or Luckys or something like that in the United States.
This video is starting to make me value the No name brand. Why de ducc do I want this brand now?
