      We don't normally marinade strip steak but if you are using a different beef cut like a top sirloin for flank steak those can do well marinated.
      Here is an easy marinade recipe we have: www.certifiedangusbeef.com/recipes/recipedetail.aspx?id=462

    What does sage tastes like, can I skip it because I don't have it

    • @CertifiedAngusBeefTestKitchen
      @CertifiedAngusBeefTestKitchen  3 роки тому +1

      Sage is extremely fragrant and has a savory, peppery taste. Of course you can skip if you don't have it on hand. Hope you enjoy the recipe!

      @@CertifiedAngusBeefTestKitchen thanks, I just made it without the sage, lowered the thymes a bit and added more parsley instead, I'll try it tomorrow on some BBQ meat and seafood.

    Steak looks a little dry in the middle and slightly overcooked. Good thing you've got that butter to moisten it up! :)

    Isnt margarine and butter the same thing?

    • @edrob9276
      @edrob9276 2 роки тому

      No. Butter is made from milk. Margarine is made from oil.

    And why waste some herbs and shallots on the board when you can easily add them? I hate when people do that, damn.

    Now a worthy recipe. Other folks use thyme, gross. No flavor at all. Im all in with the rosemary, more aroma and flavor!
