This was so illuminating for me as someone who has not lived with any disability. Even just a few days of dealing with two small breaks in both my arms that had me relying on others for basic things showed me how much of a different daily existence that feels like when you need that assistance from friends and colleagues.
Thank you very much! I always try to formulate these things carefully because they are general on one hand but every individual experience is still unique. If it helped expanding your perspective I would call it a success.
Thanks for this personal perspective, Raf! ❤
Thank you very much!
Life indeed sucks Raf, but you sir do not.
I can't say that I've had similar struggles as you, because I am not blind. But I have been treated different because I have autism. It's not so bad anymore, but it can be frustrating when people treat you different because you happen to have a developmental disorder. Thank you for making this video Raf. It was a good one.
Thank you very much! Yes, all our experiences are different and unique. I tried to express mine in a way that may lead to some more general takes for everyone. I hope it worked.
As an anecdote, Diabetes is becoming increasingly visible. A lot of people use app-controlled pumps that are small devices stickered to the arm. In the warm seasons they are easy to spot, if you're familiar with the technology.
Oh yeah, I wonder if that changes how they are perceived by people who would otherwise not know of their condition.
“I’m sure that will be a lighter topic”
What can I say, it's all sunshine and lollipops over here...
Thanks Raf, always great to learn more from you.
Thank you very much!
Whaaat !, here is no comment till now. This guy is telling a trueth 15:08 about his topic today that has a general statement. Even if he tell something else at the beginning.
