Had a Huracan and now I have a Z06/Z07 and I'll take the Z06 any day of the week, I just love this new Z06, you are 100% correct, this Z06 is a different level. In regards you saying that the Z06 is not a supercar, I completely disagree with you, I assume you are looking at the badge on it (Chevy) if it had a Horse or a Bull badge on it, you would be saying it's a supercar, it has everything a Ferrari or Lamborghini has, to be honest, the Z06 sound blows away any of the 2 cars. @@marquesdubose9289 yeah I have driven multiple Huracans, including the one I own, and a Technica. My conclusion is the same. The Huracan sounds better than the Z06, yes, but in a different way. Z06 sounds fantastic also.
Whats up CJ. Check out Misha he just ran the z06 on the ring. Said its amazing and his 2nd favorite car behind the gt3rs, but said it was as good or better than the gt3. This dude can drive, he literally said the car is too capable not to drive it only on track days on the ring. Cheers
As for the Corvette not being a supercar. I mean, I guess that's accurate in the fairytale land of "badge appeal" to those who care. But I'd say the performance is already there, and I'd say that non-believers are in for more BIG surprises as ZR-1 and Zora launch. 😎
I’d still get the zO6 over the Lamborghini for all the practicality benefits. I live on the very edge of North America’s pavement infrastructure. I’ve yet to see any C8 or Hurrican live with my own eyes yet. My friend has two mint Countachs though. Not practical. 😂 They really turn heads. Question that doesn’t really matter but curious ….Fuel mileage? Thanks for posting 👍🏻
From a fuel mileage standpoint, so far, during a the first weekend I took a 500 mile road trip to the mountains, plus I drove around another 150 miles or so, and I averaged 17.4 MPG. I drive the Huracan on mostly backroads, very little highway time really, and I probably average 13 MPG or so.
Great review, I have a lamborghini tecnica you should review this against the z06 since they are at least made in the same time frame. Tecnica Is absolutely insane and the exhaust note is wild compared to other hurucans and is also the fastest lambo down the quarter and has clocked 2.4 o to 60 with 10.2 seconds.
@Hellcat-pg5pq that's some good times. The z06 has shorter gearing to pull those times off it appears because think about this. The tecnica has 630 hp but runs a 10.2 trapping 135 mph and it's top speed is over 200 mph. The z06 has 670 hp let's say it runs 10.4 I'm sure with drag radials or slicks and it runs 10.4 but still isn't a 200 mph plus car. Make it make sense.

Emilia Hartford got a 2.2 second 0-60 and a 10.4 quarter in the ZO6
