Great little gutter trash sluice, Andy, a lightweight that'd go well up small creeks and seasonal flow gullies, where bigger setups take heaps more huffing and puffing, only to find not enough water flow when you get there. Fits in the bucket you carry it in and out with. We're still trying to find one of those cricket bags that'll fit a long Gold Rat sluice, currently wrapped in a picnic blanket, it doesn't draw the attention it ordinarily would! Although walking into the bush with a cricket bag may look odd... You can understand our need to keep with discretion being the better part of Valla. Cheers!
I would be very careful about carrying anything into a forrest especially wrapped in a picnic blanket!... could be something that people would call 000 about. But seriously, this is such light weight, stick it in your back pack. Walk as far as needed, it won't break your back or bank. Even if you bought the gutter bits, a carpet, hard part is the mesh. But I help myself, I look at things and see an alternative use. Lots & lots of stuff could be used to catch gold. Its all about perception, and expectation of what you want to achieve. Maybe one day I will sit in the great hall at Valhalla with the wordsmith "Gabi Valla". Thanks as always for the comments. Cheers Andy
@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures we almost need it, need a few days of consistent gentle rain is what all the creeks need. Especially "Slaty Creek" otherwise you will be divining for H2O!
@MurrayRiversGoldAdventures it does, but also poses other problems. Like stagnant pools of gunk, thankfully we do not have smello vison! The thing ya do for clour
Hi from Washington (not DC), New sub here. I'm new to prospecting and so far been buying small things like the dreammat adventure sluice (4x16 inches) and a few pans, a classifier, a snuffer bottle, a magnut, etc... But I want a bigger non powered river type sluice, maybe 3 feet by 6 to 12 inches wide. I don't however want to buy one of the 100 to 200 dollar ones, only to need a 100 dollar mat for it... So you sir have given me the thought of building one... It's not that complicated... You get the idea. Thank you and keep on making videos... So many from my little corner of America have been offline for years now... I need input (haha). Have a good one.
Good on you, the possibility's are endless if you look at things in a way. Look at scrap yards, rubbish dumping on the sides of roads is prolific here. I wish you luck, and thank you for subscribing. May you find some shiny yellow metal. Regards Andy
@andypandyAU.6669 we are getting alot of rain in short spans and is making the rivers quite high and hard to do much Mining....have a great day brother
Thank you Andy I really appreciate the shout-out 🙏
No problem 👍
Well done mate nice work 👍
Thanks Shannon, I get as much fun from making stuff as catching gold!
Regards Andy

🤠🙃👍 thanks
Good size for the amount of water flow at the moment
It works well with low flow, but as you know it can always be better!
Cheers Vic.
See ya 1 day eye to eye
@andypandyAU.6669 My first thought was a small bilge to make it a power sluice. Lol
