To put this song into context…last year on her IG live she said this album is all about her divorce…this song specifically is a message for her son…she settle down young and had her son also he’s 8 and she just turn 30…didn’t help her ex husband was mentally n emotionally abused her for years..so she changed who she is to pleased him and it cost her her happiness..so this song as her son gets older and asking question about leaving his father? She’s asking go easy on her as she try to live the life she wanted n be genuinely happy…
