This is based on his life. He has three daughters. Hailie is his only biological daughter, but he adopted Laney (the other girl in the video). She was the daughter of his ex wifes twin sister - and later he adopted Whitney. The daughter his ex wife had with another man. Laney just got married, and Hailie is engaged. They seem to be doing very well😊
@@javiersosa3255 What are you even talking about? Whitney is doing good as well. She's non-binary, but there is nothing wrong with her. Eminem even commented on her in an interview awhile back saying she was doing well, and his 3 daughters are what he's most proud of. Even though she's not his biological daughter, Eminem considers them all his real children.
I'm 100% sure if it wasn't for Hailie we would have lost Em years ago, that girl was his rock. She has grown up into a beautiful, smart successful woman. The other little girl was his niece that he ended up raising and adopting. Even through all the crazy life he is still an amazing dad.

My father dedicated this to my siblings and I before he’d go on deployments with the military. To this day I cannot get through a second of the song with ugly crying.
Im 35 grew up hearing and jamming the song singing the lyrics. Now i have a daughter and this hits different when you trying to give your daughter the world or move mountains for her. To show her i will protect and nurture her with every ounce of my power. I will do anything for her and love her dearly. Me and her bond is stronger then with her mom. I want to give her what i didnt have growing up with a single mom struggling with 5 boys in the hood. Moving from place to place going from school to school. This song hits me on another level. Shout out to all the fathers protecting their daughters and trying to give them the world.
This is why people love Em - he's not afraid to be real. He doesn't hide all the time behind an image and play "gangsta". He will reveal his heart and people relate to that. Fake can get you attention, but it doesn't keep people's attention for long. The spectacle passes. People want to feel connected to artists and sitting on a mountain of cash surrounded by "bitches" isn't relatable and frankly, gets tiring to hear about.
