Thanks for watching. This was, for sure, the toughest riding of the whole trip for me. I really hope you enjoy watching me figure out how to get through it, it was a gorgeous ride. I'd love to hear what you think!

I have really enjoyed this series! My wife is from Santa Fe but we now live in NC. All her family is still there. We sold our home by Devargus Mall and bought 25 acres here in NC. Big difference in landscape and your video is making me miss NM. I ride a KLR and look forward to riding the NMBDR. Be safe and I hope you have a plan for another series after you wrap this one up.

Yeah, I've moved away from NM so many times, but always come back. It's an easy place to miss, haven't found anywhere like it, 25 acres sounds amazing though. I'm really glad you're enjoying the videos. Latin America will be next up!

Glad you enjoyed it! I gather that speed would help us in both cases, but that has been a big hurdle for me to cross. We're pretty spoiled with the sunsets around here

Great video. I rode part of this section on my TW 200. All those creek crossing are easy on that bike, with the massive tires and low air pressure. I was startled by gigantic elk a few times. They panic and run blindly. I met a local that was chopping wood and he told me he could get an A.M. radio signal all the way from Los Angeles. I camp in the Gila every year. Silver City makes a great base camp for exploring the area.

I need to have a go at some point on a TW, they look like a riot. I probably should've aired down a bit myself, but never did. I've gone to Silver City for a little getaway with my girlfriend twice in the last 2 years, great spot. Glad you liked the video, thanks for letting me know!

It really is, and I got really lucky with the weather. I think it should've been much colder at that time of year. Super glad you enjoyed it, thanks for letting me know

I came across this series recently and clicked on it because it was thru areas I have ridden in the past on several different motos - KLR650, Honda CBX500, KTM 390 Adventure, Beta 520RS. It's understandable you fell on the rough terrain. What I think is foolishness is the lack of planning, little to no research, poor decision making, navigation ignorance, assumptions based on wishful thinking, and failure to pay attention when it's necessary. I also realize you probably operate outside of those parameters by choice and temperament, which you are certainly free to do. I do commend you on your ability to laugh at your mistakes and perseverance to keep struggling when many would rather give up, and putting your errors on a video for all to see deserves some kind of prize.

It’s a 650L adventure. That is the plan. Lmao, if I wanted to plan more I would ride a KTM !!!!!!!!
      Love all serve all.
