Honest to God Its time for you to have your own television show on a national network. Not only are you talented but your sense of style is impeccable. Continue the fantastic work!
Looks fantastic, as far as I'm concerned you are brave to take chair apart and put back together. It looks better than it was originally, great job, thanks so much for sharing.
I LOVE it. Your projects are always so practical, so useful and well explained and demonstrated. Thanks for inspiring me, Orchid. You are actually my favorite DIY'er.
Fearless and talented! I have the same chairs, same color and I was thinking of adding just the nail heads BUT the coordinating fabric on the back of the chairs looks so high end I want to do the same to my chairs. Great instruction/tutorial TY!
Great job! Years ago, mother-in-law and I once re-upholstered a whole sofa with new material. It was challenging but we did it! I have also re-done dining room chairs with fabric with a heavy duty stapler.
Thank you Frances, it is tedious work but so worth it considering how much you saved by doing it yourself. Here in NY it is $1200-$1500 to redo a sofa!!! crazy....
I’ve been wanting to do this but was afraid it would get complicated. Thanks for this tutorial showing how simple it is. Will definitely be looking for fabric & tools this weekend.
You are so courageous to take on that project! I appreciate your encouraging support that anyone can do it...you may be right. But girl, you are such a Shero for accomplishing it! : ) Well done!
Wow Orchid you did a fantastic job as usual. Got the address and directions to the fabric store, will be traveling to Bklyn in the fall. THXS FOR SHARING.
Beautiful Store Showmanship! Is there such ability to purchase the silver nail bottoms in your chairs? I’d like to replace some with newer ones? If so where? Ty 🥰♥️🥰♥️
I was wondering about the seam on the arm backs. Were the 3 separate pieces necessary or could you have cut the back as one piece? I really like this project even though I hate nailing all those tiny nailheads. It really is very chic
I generally use the existing fabric as my template since I do not have a lot of experience sewing. In reference to the nailheads, you could use the strip so you would be nailing only a few and wouldn't have to worry about getting it straight. Walmart carries the upholstery nailhead trim.

Thank you so much Rennan. Tedious work but well worth the effort.
So so nice
Thank you!
Great job I was wondering where did you find the tools for this project
Hi Jose, I generally get my tools from Home Depot and upholstery supplies on ebay.
I Love it!
Question. Can I just trace out the whole fabric instead of cutting the leg part and sewing it back?
MZGREAT That’s what I was thinking. It could have been a one piece cut.
I am located near Jamaica Queens and I have 5 bar stools that I would like to have redone. Is it possible that I can hire you? Your work is beautiful!
Is that not too far from Dunkin Donuts on the corner and the bus stops right in front of that material store I'm from Brooklyn I know Queens
Yes!!!! it is!
In addition to loving your project I also love the piano music used in the background. It's so classy and soothing. What is it?

Eu amei 👏😍
Easier way would of been using Chalk Paint/Fabric Paint/Fabric Dye and a Stencil..!!?
All three, or one of the three? I'm asking because I think it would be easier too.
@@rosiecooper2721 1 of the 3
Ok. Thanks so much. That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure.

Why not just cut the back in one piece?
Hi Susan, I am new to the upholstery game so I tend to cut exactly as the old fabric.
@@orchidplace1479 they look great.
Wow love the transformation!
Thank you!
