- In the fourth episode of this series of GCSE Sociology revision videos, I continue to look at changing trends in the family, but today we’re focusing on conjugal roles and how different sociologists, like Oakley and Willmott & Young argue over the extent to which family life has become more equal.
The video is aimed at GCSE Sociology students but will also be useful as a recap to those studying at a higher level, particularly if you’re new to the subject. It’s 20 mins long. I hope it’s helpful for you!

I am doing my GCSE exams in November and I haven't started sociology at all yet (I'm home-schooled), its boring to just pick up a textbook and read so thank you for these videos as you explain everything in a casual but still professional way without sounding boring and explain in detail. For once I actually want to study more and now I can actually learn everything I need and pass :)
Edit: Does this contain everything I need to know for Paper 1 & 2 or is this basic information and will I need to revise extra from textbooks?

In answer to your Q, I’m pretty confident that what I’ve covered in my GCSE vids (episodes 1-21) is pretty much everything you need to revise / know for the Eduqas GCSE course. Some videos are more detailed than others but they do all assume you’ve been taught this content previously, so I’d recommend using these alongside a textbook or tutor to gain a full understanding of the topics and concepts. You should also ensure that you’re applying your knowledge to exam questions, which you can find by just googling ‘Eduqas GCSE Sociology past papers’ or similar.
