@@psychlops924 Out of the approximately 200 countries on earth, only 2 or 3 consistently refrain from using metric. Why would they teach how to convert to metric from non-metric in the 98% of the planet who uses the metric system, seeing as pretty much no one uses anything other than metric?
Came here for the grenade puns in the comments; was not disappointed. But really, the quality of your videos is incredible. Great information and great graphics.
Quick correction. The external grooves on the old "pineapple" grenades were not to promote fragmentation, but to allow for easier handling in wet or muddy conditions. Internal grooves/notching promotes fragmentation which is why some grenades have fragmentation liners composed of notched wire, coiled to match the contour of the grenade body.
A bit too much fuzz/hair on the grenades but amazingly well made video! I really love the material definition on the Compound B explosive shown at 2:33, really well made
The model quality and animations are amazing. So well put together, glad you’re getting lots of attention. Only nitpick I have is to have more measurements in the metric system, since like for the frag grenade you mention its size and weight in imperial measurements, but it’s killing distance in metric. That’s my only issue but this is some great content
Amazing details on your models. Makes you stand out form other "how it works" channels where everything is clear and sterile. Also all supporting objects and scenes quality is top notch. You could've gone with simple black background and it would look good, but you just went an extra mile. Fantastic work! All that said... why do your granades have hair? :D 2:40, 2:49, 5:22
That intro sentence hits different if youve every held/thrown one. "Unsettling" eloquently sums up what its like holding a little death-ball with one purpose in life and its doesnt care who it does it to
I'm sub 1441. Looking forward to.what is coming. While I despise that fact that weapons like these are produced and used, I appreciate the engineering and your videos. Disarmament for peace :)
cool approach, but i hope this channel wont be weapons focused. so much other engineerign stuff to explain that would improve general mindset of others ❤
This is gonna blow up
Fitting comment for a grenade video

Hi, it would be great to have measurements also in metric.
But it's an amazing video nonetheless
I don't get why so many people have issues with conversions.
@@sauce1232Because only North America, Liberia, and sometimes UK use imperial. The rest of the world uses metric.
@@farhanadjie1393so you don’t know how to convert to metric?
@@psychlops924 I don't know how to use imperial units.

Very well done! please also mention the metric equivalent when about units of measurement such as "fahrenheit"

Ounces.. inches... What is this??
Agreed. Why use the measurements of King George III? Even the British Empire does not use it anymore.
