any idea what are the selection criteria? I'm not talking about eligibility like getting more than 55% in Masters, I'm talking about how do they select who gets the fellowship from the pool of eligible candidates.

Hello di, how long does it take to complete the full process, starting from the admission till one starts receiving the amount. Suppose if a students take admission in July and has applied for this fellowship also so by which month does one actually starts receiving the amount of 37k and will it be monthly basis or quarterly or half yearly or annually?
approx 6 months i believe. Looking at last year process, last date of application was 31st August 2023 and the final list of 750 people who got the fellowship was released on 23rd Feb 2024. So approx 6-7 months it will take. It is very long but i think the good thing is they will give you lumpsum of 6 months together
