Disneyland's First Ever PRIDE NITE Was Emotional!

- For the first time ever, Disney held a Pride Nite in Disneyland as part of their After Dark ticketed event series and we were in attendance to celebrate with our LGBTQ+ friends. The night included a special parade, fireworks show, a ton of special character meet and greets, Pride-themed food and party. It was both emotional and fun! Come with us on this adventure!

I have two moms. Watching this made me kind of cry and happy that people that people are becoming more supportive. Having watched my mom struggle to find herself after her crappy marriage to my father and then feeling like she always felt like she had to hide being gay from society this gives me hope that future generations will be more excepting. I went with my partner and absolutely loved the positive vibe! They did such a great job to put in the effort to make everyone feel included and welcomed and it was so awesome seeing everyone being so happy! Never experienced anything this warm and heartfelt at Disney in a while, this was something amazing to be part of!

I remember back in the 80s when Disney wouldn't allow same sex couples to dance together and I'm literally in tears right now seeing this outpouring of love and support for ALL people! We’re used to having pride nights at Disneyland Paris, but this looks awesome. Disneyland went all out for this. Great video guys!
Didn’t know Paris did pride nites. Are they officially run by Disney? In the past outside organizations have run gay days inside the parks here but I don’t think it was ever anything out on by Disney officially
@@OrdinaryAdventures Yeah, they're officially run by Disney. Disneyland Paris has been doing it since 2019 - they're called Disneyland Paris Magical Pride. You'll see it all on their official channels. They have one coming up this Saturday. Plenty of vlogs on it too! ✨🌈

I think our community has made great strides. So much so, that I feel we no longer need to call out our “specialness” with a parade or different celebrations. You know you really made it when there is just plain old acceptance, period. It’s a small world, after all.
I think especially with what’s going on with Desantis vs Disney in Florida events like this are extra important.

I myself attended Disney Pride Nite last night and it was everything I had imagines it to be and MORE!!! SO SO SO much love and happiness was spread-out though the entire park and I couldn't believe how warm and inviting the ambience felt! I totally started crying when they started playing This Is Me from The Greatest Showman during the fireworks!! So climactic and the perfect song!! It’s my favorite movie and also I think they might have some sort of Disney relationship bc that movie does play on Disney Plus!
