- Filmed back in February, Phil, Nikita, Ande and myself, took in a short explore of the 17th century Lumsdale Valley Mills, just outside Matlock in Derbyshire.
We look at the remains of the bone mill, sawmill, paint mill and twin bleaching mills, including a 17th century tramway that is still visible between them.
The Bentley Brook that once powered this series of mills cascades down a series of waterfalls through the valley.

Great little video Gareth and team , what came to my mind while watching it was , how we take water for granted.
It's powerful and destructive , it's life and preservation. We can do so much more with it than we currently do. It's old but can be the NEW way forward.
Thanks to all.

A night walk here would be great actually.

Reckon there is loads more to find once those fences are down, mate.
@@IckeWalks deffo Gaz, the fence was there when I went, but I went in over the wall, I wasn’t gonna miss out on that place. I also feel like there is more to the place than the official narrative as well.
