Thank you for taking the time to cook this as I am going to grow some birds to turn into capons..it really looks delicious and am looking forward to having one for dinner. Blessings.
My mom use to cook these for us while we were growing up. I cooked one about 15 yrs ago and it was delicious. My mom past away in July and i forgot how she told me to do it. So i came here for tips. She would take butter flour and season melt the butter with flour and season and spread it all over the bird so it coukd get golden brown.
In my experience over years of working with this bird, it needs lots of attention with bay leaves, red wine and serious amounts of garlic and ginger. Because of its strong taste. Then blend my hot red pepper s,time and red onions 🌶️ and brown sugar along with ginger paste. Walla!!! But yea, everyone does it to suit taste. ❤
No strong taste to us. Between my mother and I we have been cooking and eating capons for decades. You are right it’s what you and your family enjoy. Thanks for watching!
Trust and believe my sink was clean. I am clean with all of my cooking. Anything you put your food in could be dirty if you don’t clean it. I also bleach my sink out after I put meat in it. Thanks for watching.

Capon is my favorite fowl, way better than turkey, in my opinion. They are juicy, succulent and delicious.
that is too much salt on that bird i never use that much. no wonder black people got hi blood pressure lol.
Well thank you for watching. All I can say is you do you and I’ll continue to do me.
Too much salt. MAYONNAISE? I can’t watch the rest of this.
Lawry's has a lot of salt. Too much salt. Also, you could have used a large bowl, put tge turkey in and season. The sink isnt for that.
