That's a slick little gizmo, I like it. I'm already mulling on some homemade device to speed up the loading of the tubes...hey, if we can save a few minutes here and there, it all adds up.
Thanks for the response not sure if Im a fan of not using a powder check. I agree Dillion powder drop is mostly accurate. Not a fan of using another name brand die set after all Dillion dies have never let me down and I paid a good penny for this press.
John B yeah I hear you I used to think the exact same thing but making rifle cartridges on my other Dillon 650 for 5 years taught me to trust the powder dropper as well as I look inside each case before seating a bullet. Too bad there is not a six station Dillion 650/750.
Hey, now you can load a ton of .223 so Julio can shoot it all 😂😂 That's awesome man. That seems like the best bullet feeding system that anyone has come up with yet. Wish I had an extra station on the Lee press for it!
TinMan you know I was teasing Julio he really didn’t shoot that much ammo maybe 140 rounds or so. He did yell like Rambo when he was doing it which I thought was a little out of character for him. He may have also yelled out die you commie bastards but I’m not sure as I had my ear protection on.
@@nycreloader I know, lol. I can totally picture the smile on his face while he was shooting that thing. Awesome stuff! We should get him shoulder belts for ammo 😂👍
Calvin Yung I can see how that would happen, for me it’s really about speeding up my quality bullet making eventually I’ll buy a big time bullet feeder and move this one to my pistol dedicated Dillon 650. With this unit I’m capable of making 1200 rounds an hour if I push it. That to me is a good thing. Worth the price
did you have to flare the case mouths at all? I have the same set up, also on a 650 but the bullets fall off the cases when the shell plate rotates. Im looking at the lyman M die. Ill likely have to process the brass in a batch before i reload it.
E P3 Training yes you have to flare the cases. With that said it’s not an easy process and in most cases you may have a Dillion alignment problem and crush cases like I did until I got it sorted by calling Dillon. The standard flare die works it just takes time to get it sorted.
Mayhemsr1 when you run a Dillon 550,650, or 750 the caliber change comes with the proper press flare die on station #2 you do have to adjust it a bit but once done flare is done progressively on that station.
@@nycreloader thank you im considering one of these. Need to make a decision today, does 9mm work for any other caliber. Like are they interchangeable or you need a seperate one for all calibers you want to load.
Mayhemsr1 each Dillon caliber kit will come with the flare die you need for each caliber you are reloading as long as you buy the kit from Dillon. I know DAA makes one but I have not needed it or tried it yet.
John B double alpha actually sells a powder check that will work. However I’m pretty well lit, my powder measure is consistently putting out my powder and I watch as things move along to prevent let’s say a bad primer seat or a under or over charge. Some have moved the powder measure to station three and bullet drop on station four seat and crimp using a double duty die. I’m not a fan of that so I do it this was.
CrankyCleatus yes different caliber for each size bullet. I bought one in .223 & one in 9mm they make many other sizes as well. Since I only mass produce .223 & 9mm on the Dillon 650 it works great for me. Every other caliber inreload on single stage anyway as I don’t shoot them as much.
Alaskan Ballistics I will keep making here behind enemy lines as long as I can and when I can’t I will move to a place where it’s not an issue. Thanks for the support.

I like it but I don’t want to give up my powder checker.
Thanks for the informative video. I've been kicking around the idea of getting one.

There is a learning curve but I really like this product.😁👍
Nice! Looks like it works really well.
Good video. Luv my xl 750
I’m glad you found my video helpful.
I like it operates smoothly 😀👍👍
Thanks been looking at one for my 650
That looks like it works pretty slick! Now that I’ve finally got a .223 I might have to get a progressive some day 👍🏻

@@nycreloader I hear you. This is the Cadillac of all presses yes pricey but lifetime of a press. Im your neighbor next store New Jersey.
John B very cool another Reloader brother behind enemy lines

Hi, where can I buy a Mini Mr Bullet Feeder?
Right here www.doublealpha.biz/us/mini-mr-bulletfeeder-rifle
I bought it too but eventually I'd purchased the Mr.Bullet feeder as I hate to preloaded the tube

So your not using a powder check due to the space of the toolhead correct??

Killer video sir!
Pretty cool !! Definitely can crank out the ammo fast. Are those tubes caliber specific?

@@nycreloader is the die caliber specific as well or can you for instance buy a 9mm tubeset with die and then just purchase the .223 tubes?
Keep fighting the good fight in nyc...
