- Join us for a fun day at Universal Islands of Adventure in Feb 2024 to see the very first brand new piece of Epic Universe merchandise out in the parks & lots more fun things going on!! We show you where the brand new Epic Universe shirt is available in the park, and how you can get it too! We also check out LOTS of updates in the park - including VelociCoaster which has been down for a few days but we catch it testing a few times from some great vantage points, The Passholder Lounge in Toon Lagoon, the All Hallows Eve Boutique, an interesting update at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendus that may indicate a reopening soon in Suess Landing, have a fun chat with the talking Mystic fountain, enjoy stunning views of rides, characters & and more going on all over the park! Come enjoy a beautiful sunny day with us at Universal and soak in the vibes as we explore Universal Islands of Adventure 2024 and the energy of the surprising February crowds!
Loved this vlog as always; great to think back to when they started building Volicicoaster. We have a fantastic family photo taken out the back of the Discovery Centre by the water before they dug that whole area up for the footings. It’s preserved forever as my saver screen 😊

OMG!! Good Times!! I was part of the opening crew for IOA and I was and actor for the egg hatching as well as the 4 original actors for Triceratops Encounter.. Man i loved those days!! I was even one of the first Adventurers of the Month for IOA!! The other actors were sick and i did two days straight by myself in Triceratops Encounter!
What cool memories to have!!
So excited to see the changes for Epic Universe. 🙌 Another beautiful day out at the parks. We still haven’t been on Velocicoaster but it definitely looks fun, especially the theming. 🦖💕

I totally agree! I was there on the sixth for the first time ever and was surprised at just how busy it was. Sadly the velocicoaster was closed so I still haven’t had the pleasure of riding it. Next time! So excited to bring my kids next time (this was a girls trip with my bestie for my 40th birthday)!

I SO appreciate your coverage of the Lost Continent area Jackie, especially since we dont know how much longer well have it for. Lost continent has continued to be one of my fav areas to hangout in IOA since 1999. Celestial Park is totally giving Lost Continent vibes and that made me SO much more excited to experience that area than I thought I would be prior to watching the recent Epic Universe video! That Victorian Aquarium restaurant looks too cool!
I keep wanting to take as much footage of lost continent as I can to document it because who knows when they’ll start demolishing or changing.

Thanks for showing scenes and decor from the park and stores. I felt like so many vlogs are about running to the next food item, people don't slow down to enjoy all the decor and scenery! You always bring something that others do not.

I heard one of launches went bad during a run on velocoaster and the train got stuck. The park shut the ride down and had to replace the whole thing. Those aren’t the easiest to replace. They were testing to figure out if it works or not.

@@theactualdarthvader oh booo! Did you get the email that is titled "Join the Nonstop Mardi Party"? It's listed in there, but it's just a small mention. Sometimes these things are slipped in the emails and hard to find! But either way, I'll always tell ya about em and I try to let everyone know about stuff like that so everyone can get them!!

Yaaaaaasssss fully agree that roller coasters with onboard audio and theming are always some of the best in the world! I'll take theming over record-breaking airtime and inversions any day of the week 😍 Velocicoaster is an absolute masterpiece and we do hope that it's back up and running again soon so that Sam can get his fix, but at least we still have Hagrid's in the interim. We are _so_ excited for Starfall Racers and the whole of Epic Universe. We may or may not have ordered a couple of those new Epic tees from the online storefront early this morning. 😂 Universal is absolutely crushing the theme park and tourist destination game, and we are so stoked for 2025 - and beyond! Such a fun day, thanks so much for taking us along!

Love the video when dose epic universe actually opened
There was a leak a few months ago that some of the hotels for the park are opening just before Summer of 2025. My guess would be mid-late Summer for the park opening.

Yay I’m so glad you went to Universal!! I was there at early park admission at 8am, walking towards Hogsmeade when I saw volicitcoaster with a 15 minute wait, so I went right over there!! That ride is awesome so glad it opened on my last day so I got to ride it!! So sad I didn’t get to see you there 😢! Long wait times! I rode Hagrid twice in a row both times had to wait over an hour!! But it was worth it!! It’s such a fun ride!! 😊❤️😊❤️❤️😊😊

I always thought it would be really cool if they added a little mosasaurus animatronic head in the water just before the barrel roll over the lagoon. I love Velocicoaster and my fiancé and I also loved to go to the parks and watch it slowly being built up. It’s also one of my fav coasters. Jurassic Park is pure childhood nostalgia for me, though, so I may be biased.
That would be SO cool!!

I think that Universal should switch to Pepsi in 2024 so that Pepsi can have a presence in one of the big 3 Orlando theme parks again and also have Universal serve Pepsi Perfect if that becomes a thing.
Is the fountain guy the same cab guy on studios? So normal and necessary for Velocicoaster to be checked and rest a bit! If you get thenopportunity you should ride its cousin Batman Gotham City Escape in my opinion a much shorter and less themed one but great experience and sensasions with every element! Well, the Enthused Effect worked again. You released the video and the Velosicoaster opens with a 3 hour wait today 😂 you're getting really good at this lol. It also is in my top 5 best coasters I've ridden, absolutely love it! I currently have the Epic shirt in my cart waiting for me too. It calls me like the sea calls Moana Lol! I kinda wanna wait to see it in person, hopefully they still have it in stock😬2 more weeks to go and my feet are ready, and they will not fail me lol. Also, the talking fountain may be one of my favorite things at Universal, Its seriously the best! 😂 I always love watching a good fun day at the parks. Yoda Best 🙌

Hi Jackie and Sam, this was a great update vlog😊 The Rollercoasters are themed really awesome, but sadly my disabilities limit me on what i can ride😢 I would love to just walk through the line and see the themeing of the lines, especially Velocicoaster. Velociraptors are my favorite dino, because they are so cunning. I have loved Dinosaurs since i was a little girl, and when the first Jurassic Park movie came out and we saw it in the theater, that was it for me😃 We seen every Jurassic movie in the theater as soon as another one went out. My Mom and Sister love them to. Yes, we are Ladies , but Dinosaurs are awesome😃 We plan to go to Universal in Florida in the Fall of 2025, and the Jurassic area will be our first destination, next of course all the Harry Potter areas. Sadly we never got to see the Poseidon , it looks like it was awesome to. We haven't been to Universal since early 1990s 😢😅 That Fountain is Awesome to😂 Anyway, this was Great Updates Thanks. Oh and looking forward to Epic Universe to, cool shirts y'all got.

When I started this video and heard you say it was February 7th, I got super sad. I was right in the parks on that day and didn't run into you. I did have fun that day, though. I rode a float in the Mardi Gras parade, and I got to ride on the Gator float...my favorite!! So sorry I missed you and Sam. Hoping to run into you one of these days! 🙏🤞 You guys are the best❣️
