Thank you for ending with "you deserve it." Coming from a family where the message was clearly stated, "you don't deserve anything; you earn it," I think it is extremely important to differentiate between earning and deserving our down time. Checking in on our own mental health, self care, and relaxation are not earned, but deserved. Thank you for another great episode!

I really appreciate you speaking up about what has happened this past week. It’s not something you had to speak on but it’s amazing that you did.

I love the pooling/flashing on the Something Cozy! I also love that it’s different from the front to the back but the color is so pretty, that you kind of have two sweaters in one.

I really enjoyed your channel and agree about the self care. Crocheting and knitting had given me so much support. Taking the time to browse through yarn or patterns or spending an hour or two creating something news has been incredible. So glad to have your channel to share my love for this amazing craft

@knittynatty, the last part of your show, you are wearing a grey cardigan? Could you share if it is from a pattern and if so, the name?

Thank you Natalie for being an inspiration both personally and with your knitting! I'm a teacher nearing the end of another long school year and I agree that knitting is more than a craft. ♡

I relate so much to what you’re saying about the summers! I’m from Tennessee and Arkansas but moved to Canada in 2020. The spring and summers are wonderful because they are not miserably hot!

For seaming, you do bot need a strong yarn. When we seam necklines in Norway, many of us just divide the yarns into the small strands and use only one thin strand to fold and seam down the neckline and other elements. You have to take care when you seam, but it will not break after you finish as the seam has many points that all hold up the fold together thus become super strong. I would use the thin fluffy yarn personally as it glides easily. Love your sweater!

Mental health is SO important to take care of. If a person needs to take downtime and knit! Do it. It is proven to be therapeutic. If one doesnt knit...use something else as a coping skill. It is not earned...it is a must for well being.

I love watching your channel each week. Your comment about mental health is so true. We all focus on taking care of our bodies and eating healthy we forget our mind needs love to. I’m coming up on my year anniversary of mental health care in my life and it’s the best thing we can do for ourselves.

Hi Natalie, just to echo everyone else here, I love your podcasts and all the work you do. Your knitting is amazing… and I’m grateful for your virtual weekly company whilst I knit too. I appreciate your generosity podcasting frequently and regularly. I’ve followed other podcasters in the past who blogged or podcasted regularly to start with and then, after building a substantial following, they become much less frequent. It must require a lot of time as well as technological skills to do what you do, so thank you. Your call on looking after our mental well-being is soo true. Would be grateful if you could reply to send me a with a link to one of those therapists that you refer. Many thanks, CSC

Just purchased your yarn cozy’s patterns. I am on my second one trying to get it done for a new KAL sweater that is starting soon. They are fun to do.

You might have enough left of your Chelsea Luxe and mohair to make her Chelsea in Paris Baret! Is that not exactly the same yarn and almost same color as in her pattern?

Thank you this joyful and motivational episode is just what I needed :) Other that work and life, I also seems to struggle to get patterns to work as from March this year -I never had this problem before. So have have put them all away in the cupboard and took out and old bottom-up pattern - nothing fancy, just to something that will make me feel "I can still knit and finish something" I really hope it works. umm do you have lace weight garment patterns that worked for you, please share if you do. Have a beautiful week and all the best with your business.
