Honestly ive been listening to you guys before the game and ive been going though a lot of touch stages in my life. Half of my family is torn apart, only a few people except my transitioning family wise, my friend dyed... When i found you guys were in the game i got really excited and when i heard the songs i hummed along. You guys helped male this emotional train ride of a game pull through.
I just love the atmosphere they brought to the game with that music! The guitar tune always hitting in the background just in the perfect time...I love Syd Matters for the first soundtrack and Daughters are doing a great job so far!
The music exceeded my expectations. You can feel Chloe and Rachel's emotions all the time, it's so beautiful, deep and sad at the same time, special mention to the ending song of the first episode, was amazing, epic how a song can go so deep and make the scene feel so real. God I cried a lot with the first episode. I fell in love with LiS BtS as I fell in love with the original game. Both are masterpieces and I wish the best for espisodes 2-4. Thank you Daughter, really, thank you.

Music is so vital and integral to the Life is Strange games, and having Daughter create a soundtrack unique to Chloe Price and her journey was perfection. All of the songs capture every feeling, memory, and emotion that this character experiences, from her fits of anger and angst to her melancholic lows.
im thankful at this game for introducing and ended up giving me a new interest on indie genre of songs, and also to this wonderful band i love it so much.

I am so happy that they're the one making Life Is Strange: Before The Storm soundtrack. Their music really fit Chloe and so different from Max. I love it and I can't wait any longer to play it and hear their music in the game.
From what I've been hearing, this new soundtrack has so much personality and life to it. Max had a softer soundtrack and it was lovely. But this one sounds so strong and intense, but at the same time gracious and full of beauty. It really fits such a passionate character as Chloe. Can't wait to listen to it all!

I think Daughter ( well 2/3rds, Elena and Igor ) did a phenomenal job on the soundtrack for this game. Each track works beautifully with the scenes and the repeating tracks always seem to come in at the right time. And of course the other licensed songs work fantastic as well. Once again I think I'm going to be buying the soundtrack when the next two episodes come out.

Years ago, somewhere on a Life is Strange trailer, I think it was for chapter 5 of the first game...I commented that Daughter's music would fit so well for the game. I was already a Daughter fan about 4 years prior to playing LiS 1 when it was released, listening to their music religiously. I've always thought the music would connect so well with the LiS universe, the relations and emotions between the characters. When it was announced that Daughter would make music for Before the Storm, I couldn't believe my eyes... My mind would refer back to that one comment I placed on the trailer years ago, and now ...it was real. I love Daughter and I love this franchise. It was really a dream come true for me. Their music, the games...they just go hand in hand.

Their drummer was in Portland while they produced the soundtrack and recorded his parts there.
