Saw 999 three times in Chicago in late 70s! What a great time that was, Chicago loved them, mainly at a fantastic club called Gaspar's. Especially Homicide! Bringing mist to my eyes just thinking about how much fun they were. And Nick Cash was amazing.

Hi Nick!! We were two punk kids in Liverpool the day you played the afternoon show at ERIC'S under 21s gig in 1978 /9 ? We met You in PROBE RECORDS and You liked my mates paratrooper boots so we took you to get some Boots from the army surplus shop? We told you how we were going to buy a bass 🎸 guitar and so you came with us and tested a couple of second-hand bass guitars out BUT..we didn't have enough cash for the better one and so you gave the guys in the shop tickets to the big-time show to make up the tenner diffrence!! Now that's What I Call PUNK ROCK !!!( There is a photo of us at that gig if you go to the nasty nasty single with photos from Eric's ,taken that afternoon )
