- Okay, so I finally took the leap today… my first-ever flight with a 5-inch quad! 😬 I’ve only flown smaller drones before, so this was a huge jump. I picked up the iFlight CineFlow 5 with the new O4 Air Unit, and I was excited (and a little nervous) to see how it handles.
This is NOT a review-just my raw, first-time experience, from takeoff to landing (and a couple of "oh crap" moments in between). Things got sketchy fast when I started losing video signal mid-flight. I had to engage GPS Rescue, right after testing it for the first time. 😅
If you’re thinking about getting the CineFlow 5, or just curious about how it flies with the O4 system, this video might give you some insight (or at least a good laugh at my near-crashes). Let me know if you've had similar issues or if I totally set something up wrong. Drop a comment-I need to figure this out before my next flight! 🚁💨

So from what I have been reading the issue may be related to the slow SD card I was using... Which shouldn't be but maybe ya... Seems like the video from the camera is recorded then down converted for streaming over RF. If there is an issue recording this effects the video stream... The combination of my slower SD card and the fact I was shooting in a 10-bit flat color profile at 4k60fps was probably too much. I would have hoped the stream to the googles would be separate from the video being recorded but I guess not. I have faster SD cards coming and can try shooting in normal 8-bit color and not record to test out on my next flight so stay tuned. Anyone else have this issue?
Card should not be an issue, and neither power at that distance, you flew under the hill I front of you but there must be something off with the power settings. But then I don’t fly the O4 yet.

This is the exact issue/conditions I was experiencing. I should be able to confirm next weekend easily when I can fly next. Fingers crossed. I'd love to rip in this thing but the video cutting out has me a little skittish...
@@TechTinkerHobbyist You can try without sd card in and no dvr recording to see how it behaves. This looked scary. I've ordered cineflow few days ago and waiting it to be delivered
Hi, I bought this drone and I don’t like it. Too slow and worse stability compared to the Nazgul F5. Maybe I have a wrong tuning. Can I ask you to share with me the official preset of this drone?

There are presets on BetaFlight?
@@MindRiderFPV on iflight repository there are not the official preset for the cineflow 5 yet. You could copy yours from your default preset of the drone in betaflight
