Nice! I’m still waiting for mine.
Nice! Hopefully you live in a warmer area than me. Don't know how soon I'll get to really test this guy out.
@ NYC. Freezing right now just like you 😅
@@MrEddieNunez Yeah, was just on your channel and realized your in NYC. OUCH! Toughest place in the world to be flying drones for sure! Just watched one of your last videos....
@@RGMGFitness Flying GPS style drones is not too tough, you can make it happen. However, FPV drones requires a lot of traveling to Long Island, Upstate NY or even NJ where you have more open space with less people.
Sweet vid! mines gonna be here in a couple weeks. So hyped to get this thing
Nice! ENJOY.....I'm still waiting for some warmer weather...still a little to cold here in NJ to fully enjoy it. Soon though...
The front side frames are available for the O4. iFlight CNC Camera Side Plate O4 upgrade kit for Nazgul Evoque F4/F5/F6 V2 HD / Nazgul DC5 ECO HD / Chimera7 Pro V2 HD FPV Parts. Going to change out an older Air Unit for the O4 in one of my F5s. Just waiting on the side panels which should be here this week. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the heads up...good luck with the project. Didn't know iFlight had these...
Also, I'm going to need to pickup some new O4 Unit 'ND Filters'. Got a ton of ND filters but of course they keep changing everything so I need some new ones to fit the new O4 camera. Just hope the ND Filters fit okay...looks pretty tight with those new side plates....same with my new CineFlow 5. Would hate to buy them only to find out they don't fit right....guess I'll just have to find out on my own as I've not seen any real information on the new ND filters and some of these new frames.
Excited for mine to arrive, it's on its way! Looks like a nice quad, Ron. Check your props though, my friend, it's a props out config. 😉Warm greetings from South Oz! 👋🦘
Nice! Enjoy the quad...still quite cold here but checking the weather daily for an opening. Yes, can also confirm it's a props out configuration (same as my iFlight Nazgul Evoque 5")....which I prefer. Feel like you get less dirt of debris on the camera lens with this setup as well. I've made that mistake (more than once) with my props setup...so I always triple check them at this point. Nothing worse than your quad freaking out on that maiden flight.
Oh, noes, wrong prop direction, hehe =)
Please test flight time with Cineflow 5, very interesting if it's better than Nazgul. Waiting for next videos 👍
Yeah ! We are very excited to compare than😊 both !
Nice video, thanks!
Anytime!
Have you managed to fly it yet? What do you think of it? I'm undecided between the Cineflow 5 and the Nazgul F6D O4 (6 inch one). There are no reviews on the internet yet.
I'm still waiting for some nicer weather and I'll probably need several flights to really decide as well.....I want to really put it through it's paces and we're getting snow here tonight (NJ State), and it's just been miserable weather wise since I've posted this. I will 100% do a follow-up video once I've really had a chance to decide. I'm also waiting on some new ND filters for it so I can dial in all my camera settings the way I like them, and so I can post some really nice video as well. I know the picture quality is really nice but don't want to mislead anyone until I've really got some flight time under my belt with this new quad as well.
@RGMGFitness i understand. Hope the weather gets better soon! Thanks for your feedback and wish you safe flights!
I have a Dj Googles 3 and Controll 3...will it work with the Quad??
These are the current list of goggles and controllers that will work with the O4 Air Unit (the list may change (items added) in the future with firmware updates as well);
DJI Goggles 3 / DJI Goggles N3 + DJI FPV Remote Controller 3
DJI Goggles 2 / DJI Goggles Integra + DJI FPV Remote Controller 2
The O4 camera sticks out or? I am bit concerned it could get damaged more easily
Yes, it does stick out about 1/8" beyond the frame itself. Looking at the default angle I might have to adjust that a bit as well...seems a little higher than what i might normally set it at. Good point though....wish they would have been able to place the camera just a bit behind the frame itself to better protect the camera.
Definitely, a much bigger O4 camera than what's on my Evoque.
Tried today and yesterday the new Cineflow 5. Weird behavior here, it pitches when you accelerate from low gas and poor sats availability. Tried with different presets and tuning, no solutions. My Nazgul F5D v2 is more razor sharp and well tuned than this one.
Pros: good camera o4 range and very powerful 2.4 500mA iFlight receiver.
I’ll ask iFlight to make a return of this product.
Interesting! Sorry to hear it's not performing as expected. That sucks! I probably won't get a chance to get mine out for a bit. A quick observation on mine. It does look like default camera angle set by iFlight is a bit high (ie. 45°). Curious if you made any adjustments there or just left it as is. I would say the default camera angle is much 'higher' (closer to 45°) than it should be. I'm def. going to lower mine closer to 30°. Wondering if they did this on all their quad builds....if you happen to notice.
@ I cannot find any test about this drone so far, You are the first. So I’m curious to hear from you about the Cineflow review. Very disappointing for me. I was searching for a second 5” deadcat drone to buy possibly better than the previous one but I think I failed. I tried to lower the Camera for a smoother flight because yes, first thing I notice was the 45 camera angle, but the pitch movement in acceleration is still there, in any camera angle. iFlight told me that the motors are the same mounted on the R5 racing drone with different design, so if you need a spare motor you can buy an R5 motor. This is the first cinematic drone with racing motors. It sounds strange to me. I thought it was because the iFlight engineers balanced them in a such fantastic way that they create a Unicorn.
Tomorrow I’ll test it again, this time with an action cam on it. I’ll keep you updated. Disappointed so far.
@@Michele_bi I also noticed while I was in BetaFlight that the 'DEFAULT MODE' is ANGLE (not ACRO). Wondering if you may have missed that setting and that's why it's flying weird in all modes? In BetaFlight, under 'MODES'...and then 'ANGLE' settings. Also, noticed the small sticker on the one props that briefly mentions that as well....but hard to read all that small font so just wanted to mention just in case it was an oversight. I spent a good portion of this afternoon binding everything up to my TBS Tango II receiver and the new DJI Goggles 3 which I just picked up and updating all the firmware. Also, updating the OSD screen to the way I like it......Just dotting my the 'i''s and crossing the 't' 's so i have a smooth first flight.
@@Michele_bi Writing this again for the 2nd time (accidentally closed this window). Just a heads up in case you missed it. iFlight has the quad set to ANGLE MODE by default. Hopefully, you went into BetaFlight and updated the settings so you get ACRO MODE. Just thought I would mention in case it was missed and that's what's causing the issue in all modes. In BetaFlight under MODES and then ANGLE is where you'll find it (sorry, if you know this already). Also, took me forever to find the bind button for the crossfire rx. It's buried in the quad and it's a really small button (hard to see) that you press from the bottom hole in the quad (practically tore the quad apart looking for the button). Obviously, only an issue for crossfire users. It's similar to the Evoque setup but its been a while since I had to do it and iFlight didn't document it anywhere. 🤬🤬🤬
@ yes, iFlight delivers these drone in Acro Mode to avoid a mess, but I reconfigured it with my rates and Acro-Air mode. Two big issues for me so far, the pitching movement when accelerating or decelerating, and the poor gps signal, I lost all the 10 sats available during the flight when I performed a full throttle with the nose down. Never happened before.
