Thank you for viewing! Below 30hz starts to become a bit more of a feeling over an audible difference. Some speakers even if they do not go deep are heavily attenuated at those lower frequencies and give the illusion of good bass extension.
Have you tested the N4 vs N3 . I did the comparison at. Local dealer and found the N3 sounded better from low end delivery. Tight and fast compared to N4. Let me know if you did such a comparison.
We have n1, n2 and n4 on the floor. The n4 are boomy in a small room, they are meant for big open spaces >350sqft where they really shine. They also benefit from an amp with loads of power supply capacitance. The Musical Fidelity m6si is blissful in a big room with them.
@@HudsonValleyHiFI noted. They sounded great ,but somehow I felt the N3 bass was much more tight , not saying the N4 bass extension is bad, but the smaller 6.5 inch drivers in N3 x 3 units were remarkably fast in delivery. Just wondering if you got the chance to compare the N4 and N3 side by side with the same amplifier you have.
Very nice speakers and good specs. I have learned throughout all my listening experience, you need at least 35hz in order to have a decent low end.

These are great speakers
They sure are! Thanks for comment!
What are the sound characteristics of the Vestia line? I heard they're more laid back than typical Focals.
I wanna get these speakers.People are saying online that focal tweeters are bright and harsh.I never heard focal speakers in person
Total internet rumor nonsense. We hear that all the time from our customers and when they hear a pair of Focals they never say they are bright.
@@HudsonValleyHiFI totally makes sense thank you for your response I greatly appreciate it.
How powerful an amp do these need? Will my Sansui 6060, that you restored for me, drive them?
