Aren't they pros? That is a professional accredited shop they are working for and from and all of them went to school for this. And their father owns the bodyshop
Mark’s bodywork and painting skills are already extreme given how young he is and not even reached his true potential yet. You can appreciate why all the boys go to him now without needing to bother Paul so much! Nice work Mark! 👍
You can use primer tinted with the base and reduced as your sealer. Pretty nice job on the quarter panel. After wet sanding the panel, try spraying it down with prepsol and check it out under the light. It's a good way to check for imperfections.
Painters tip. Don't let the upper section of your air hose drag or touch the floor between coats as you're sure to pick up debris. As you raise your gun, debris fall off the hose and onto your painted surface. ALWAYS clean the upper part of your hose.
I hardly think there is much bondo on that car at all, after the way you worked hard to get those dings out. Nice job both of you. Have a great week guys.
Mark has the be the coolest of the brothers, just so mellow and laid back. Plus his attention to detail. So glad I’ve been watching 23rd garage since Ben mentioned he had a Channel 😁
Now that Mark has a couple paint jobs under his belt , and they turned out amazing , go ahead and issue him his Journeyman's card , with the pay raise , and Ben you saved the 1/4 panel , looks spot on , give thanks to your Dad who taught you and your Brothers a vary valuable trade " 5 star workmanship "
As if you need anymore business, you got a perfect before and after pic of your work. This job was one of your most amazing. This quarter was wiped and the repair was beautiful.
I learned a lot from this vid! Never knew about the transparent layer before blending or that special tape. Mark did a bang up job and Ben nailed that rear quarter
I am so jealous of how this car is turning out. I had someone respray my BMW magic black and you can see how the guy didnt mask off the car and sprayed right onto some of the rubber seals. I have had to replace some of the seals just to make the car look less ridiculous
Mark did an amazing job laying it down. I'm always amazed at the transformation when the clear comes on and it starts to shine. Curious if you plan to sell?
I commented on Marks’ channel and feel the need to repeat my remarks… Snapper Rocks is one of the most amazing modern colours. My one is Mineral Grey. Another equally special colour. I just can not decide which is the best. I’m sure both these colours have been designed to complement the flake and that fresh clear… wow man! I’m all in. ✌🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Great job. Ben, not happy with Gonezsquard today. They thanked everyone except you for the Bronco. If it wasn't for yoi, tthey would still be woring on it. 😢
@@Vtuned gotta wait till that paint completely dries. I’d do that or clear PPF the whole car since the color is frickin nice, and do texture clear stripes on it. Like Satin and Matte. Ghost in look.
That blue looked sick as a Flat Blue without the clear but I guess a car that fast needs the extra protection on the paint with the clear there...great work guys!!
I've never been a fan of BLUE vehicles. But that is some very intriguing paint. Sometimes it looks a bit purple and then it looks green, which is almost the opposite on the color spectrum. I remember the mid 90s Jeff Gordoon - DuPont paints that would color shift in different lighting and angles of viewing. Spectacular job👏👏👏 guys! 💯
Great job. Surprised you didn’t paint the other side as you had already done so much of the car. Guarantee the match and of course perfect paint all round.
That color Mark painted reminds me of the old Chrysler color from the '60's known as GG1 Dark Racing Green, but with a gold tinge to it. GG1 looks black in low light, but as light starts coming up, the metallic pops, then the deep green comes on. 6V4 Spruce Mica by Toyota/Lexus is a little lighter, but it's in the same vein
if you get a garden sprayer and spray the floor with water it will help keep the dust down in your booth.. dont soak the floor but enough to keep dust down, will have less dirt in your paint
Wow Mark is a very talented painter. You brothers are a force to be reckoned with. If you ever built a Super Shop you would take down all of the East Coast starting in Tennessee
I love how you hammer it out and make it work. You remind me of my family in Ohio. Cheers. You rock ps I redid a 65 stang from California with a 289 and 9 in rear end.
reminds me of one of the first pearl metallic i sprayed a ford matisse blue back in 1989 both of you should give your selfs a pat on the back for job well done
Ben save those wheels. Keep them. Good cars need the factory wheels. Sweet lookin car right here. I had a 77 320is back in college and it was a supreme driving car. Handling was amazing - especially after Bilsteins all the way around.
Brother mark boss work shop job paint blue very nice job paint blue vtuned very nice good build on BWM M2 6 Speed manual very nice good looking new job paint job happy big fan of vtuned Ben I love like support and number one ☝️ I love like watching on UA-cam videos show car building cars 👍👍👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺me Australian
You are one of the few who know what they are doing in the USA. I follow a lot of channels and I know how to do everything myself, unlike your fellow UA-camrs, you know how to do the work, they only know how to pay...! Just keep it up!
Why don’t all you brothers pull your resources and open up a big shop that does everything from oil changes to collision repair. The talent that each of you have is out of this world
Great job on the BMW, Ben. It looks really good. Did you know that it is totally possible to make a video without saying go ahead and going ahead? Try it. You might like it. I know we (I assume) will.
I have to say, that guy Mark sure can paint! The body work turned out good too, almost like it was done by a pro..
Ssssst....
He is the second best painter at that shop...
I heard those guys at 23rd garage do some good work themselves
Aren't they pros? That is a professional accredited shop they are working for and from and all of them went to school for this. And their father owns the bodyshop
@@FlyEaglesFly19111 Paul is a phenomenal painter - one of the best.

Mark is becoming an awesome painter. It looks like that might be his calling. Keep up the great work.
Watching Mark paint those pieces was sooooo satisfying. That paint looks nuts, he must be very skilled.
I hardly think there is much bondo on that car at all, after the way you worked hard to get those dings out. Nice job both of you. Have a great week guys.
"i look out for you buddy" ... thats what we call brother love
Good to see this M2 coming back alive again Ben! As a BMW M2 UA-camr, this is really great😎
Report this guy.
@@jeffomalley6015 Maybe use words and explain why? In the mean time, I reported you instead.

Cool to see Mark always getting better with experience and learning new techniques. M2 looks sick! Love that color
Ben, I’m amazed how well you straightened out that QP - (for me that was a no hoper before you got started) - just miraculous buddy 👍
As if you need anymore business, you got a perfect before and after pic of your work. This job was one of your most amazing. This quarter was wiped and the repair was beautiful.
That 3M dry coat guide coat is a game changer, 100%.
That powdered guide coat if cool af.

Wax and grease remover you can get it at your local auto parts store
You and Mark sure keep working together.
It's Goonzquad level chemistry. Seriously.
I can't believe you saved the rear quarter panel. Amazing work. Great paint job as well!

SUPER difficult to smoothly paint a bumper this, with all the different surfaces angles. Respect to your bro Marc

The satin shade of the blue really looks good. I’d do satin and clear PPF along body lines.
That would be insane

What kind of clear y’all spraying with ?
Nice work, but the front parking sensors should have been put into the bumper when getting painted so the blue colour will match.
