A lady of 84 yrs still so active to perform at that late or early hrs, so so moved with her work of art on stage. I was speechless for sometime when she finished. Long live madam.

N. Rajamji , jogi matja, pours her heart, avroh is most powerful of 2 parts, she proves it here. Although song is very sad, see the beauty , it depicts. So. Wins over north.
At the time & age of pt. Omkarnath thakur recording ,mice, sound technology not such like to day ... & Those who listen him have played so nice on thair own instrument ....madam N rajan & bismillah khan also play so nice mat ja jogi
Have to say that the tabla player wasn't on the same page. This is a recording of Rajam's rendition of this piece with Zakir Hussain, which is so much more balanced.
