Rob Mackenzie on David Livingstone's Death - HD

Rob Mackenzie is one of the world experts on Dr. David Livingstone, the famous Christian missionary in Africa in the 1800's. In this 5-minute film by Gene Massey, Rob describes the circumstances around the death of Dr. David Livingstone in 1873 and how his followers carried his body 1000 miles to the coast in order to return him to England for burial. Livingstone's heart is buried in Zambia and Rob stands before the monument over the exact spot in Zambia where his heart is buried. Rob stayed with my family back in 1988/9 in England and I'd really love to get in touch and catch up with him. He made a great impact on us all and we remember him with much fondness. If you're in touch with him I'd be grateful if you could convey this to him. My dad is Jeff and my mum is Edwina, my sister Claire and he stayed with us in the Blackpool area of North West England.
