School is already stressing me with tests and homework but listening to this helps me relax and finish my stuff. Have been living in Japan (Kyoto) for the past year. Has been an amazing time, but now just 2 weeks till I go home. Of course, as soon as I'm about to leave - I meet someone. Last night we sat on the roof of my apartment in Sanjo (central district). It's very high up and looking down, all we could see was the major high street lit in neon by the signs of the various nightclubs and bars in the area and the crowds of people surrounding them. At about 3 am, it began raining lightly and the crowds dispersed a little, but the neon remained all the same. I just held her for a while. So when I hear this playlist, I hear that night. I think I might be falling but equally know that I'm leaving too soon and it probably will never be. Sorry for the rant, just needed someone to talk to about this.

Listening to this takes me back when I was in Tokyo early last year. I love this type of music. It kinda makes me wanna cry but not in a bad way. I feel so relieved and I could listen to it for hours. And what I even more love is, how awesome this comment section is. Everybody is sharing their stories, how they feel and so much more. I think that we kinda care for eachother in a indirect way. I promised myself that when I live alone, in a small apartment, I would go out at 3am to watch the stars and just lay down on the street. I would be alone but not lonely. I would feel relaxed. I would feel so much more. I would feel something.. Thank you for sharing this awesome music :) I hope that everyone have a great day and enjoy the moments you will live through. I love you :)

I listen to this playlist almost every day while studying Japanese. Like lots of people, I was supposed to go there this fall, but since Covid, I'm trying to make my way there as a student sometime next year. Thank you for this and stay well everyone who is reading this - you'll get to Japan someday :)
so good. my favorite way to study in quarentine is to play lofi beat in the background and watch a "study with me" in another tab on a semi-lower volume than the lofi. ahaha gives me back coffee shop vibes and so i dont have to study "alone" good luck everyone :)
Amazing how this kind of music make people feel comfortable, relax, kindly, and full of hope and happiness. I mean, i see people so kindly in the comments of this video, most than in any other video or page. Even most than in the real life. It is like all we're friends without know each other. Big hug to everyone! Never give up!
Actually, I am from germany, and it`s pretty nice around here. But I, since i was a little child, had allways an urge to go to tokyo and still have it. I just love the whole country Japan, and the cities there. This type of music, Lofi Hip Hop, Jazzhop and Chillhop combined, makes me feel better and makes me feel that i am right there right now whenever i play it. It has these chilled vibes, and i really love it. So thank u very much for this 51 minute long mix. And for everyone who is studying, CONTENIUE. And also for anyone who is just in the mood to cry and stuff because they`re feeling very bad, make new friends, start maybe a new relationship with someone who understand you and u can talk about your problems with. Most of the times, they`re not the way they`re look like for the first time. And especially this community has allways open arms for you. Talk about it. Make you feel free and happy again. And for everyone: Have a lovely, pretty and calm day, relax, and have a nice time. Love y`all!
I always come back here and whenever I do this I feel a thing, I don't know how to explain it's like a place that I can visit and feel with myself and my ideas and see my memories passing fast by my mind... Just wanted to say that I really love this mix, it's the best.
This has made studying for my nursing license very peaceful , it makes my heart calm which keeps my anxiety at ease thank you . For those of you trying to keep your heart ease, just keep swimming your almost there.

Dude, I was a poor kid from the southside of Chicago. I hadn't been on a plane until college and didn't dream of making further than Milwaukee. I've been to ~45 countries now. I've lived on 3 different continents and I've walked through Tokyo on one of those rainy nights. If I can do it, you most certainly can do it.
I’ve been listening to this so much, my children do their chores and their homework to this awesome jam! New Orleans is in the building! Peace, love and blessings! What up Tokyo?
This is literally how I get my work done. When I listen to this I am so much more productive and less anxious throughout my days. Thank you for keeping motivated, focused and out of my head on the harder days!
Tokyo and New York are one of those cities that I have to visit in my life time. I’m lucky to live near London but the views in those places just look so relaxing
This was on autoplay and I was writing my essay the whole time. I didn't even notice how concentrated I was with a different video playing until I was halfway through my essay! Proof that this lo-fi video actually works
I discovered it after my 2nd trimester of my diploma.. and I still listen to it playlists 3 years later. It's really working, relaxing, concentrating and everything else. It's a revelation for me.
If people had the ability to have their own background music in life this mix would definitely be mine. Great mix hope everyone staying safe in these times.
I am glad that people in here seems to like Japan! Many things are happening now but let’s stay safe and strong. Through every dark night, there’s a bright day.

I decided to go to Tokyo, alone, for 1 month, beginning on the new year. I didn't do anything touristy; I read, studied, edited vlogs, played lots of basketball with locals and spent every day just walking around soaking in the vibe. These tunes make me miss it so much. One of the best months of my life. There is something so special about Tokyo.
I’m at the store and I hate going there cause it gives me anxiety, but reading these comments makes me feel chill and times runs fast :) 💗 I hope everyone has a good day :)
The comment section of lofi mixes are always full of kind and heartwarming comments. Even though most of them can reach your heart and encourage you, it’s better to be with someone else chilling and sharing moments of life with you. So hey there, hello dear stranger, I am here viewing all these nice comments and listening to the same calming and blissful melodies with you.
When I'm feeling low, i just scroll through this comment section. I feel like... Everybody eventually feels the same way: sometimes or always lonely, depressend, floating around in life, no direction, no goals. But when I scroll through this I know that im not alone. And that makes me feel less sad. Knowing that so many people listening to this all over the world feel the same way. I sometimes think it would be cool to get to know the people listening to this :) Wish everybody a nice and calm day. You are not alone, even when you feel like it sometimes.
Lofi almost helps you bump into others floating around with no direction, and very briefly makes you feel whole with another being. Then back the the lonely blue skies until the next time...... Mibi?
We are all just people, we are all just people. It is important to remember this. We all have hopes, dreams and fears and yet we separate ourselves based on our little differences. It's good to reconnect with others, without society's boundaries. That's what I love about this community - we talk to each other like we are all just people. Connect, love and share. :))))
Ever since I was a little kid, I've always loved hip hop beats mixed with jazz music. It's so soothing and relaxing. I love the fact that this is instrumental with no lyrics. Puts me in a very productive state of mind while working, listening and bopping along. Very nice.
For everyone who is going through a hard time in their personal life and also trying to study...I am with you my friend. Hang in there. We'll make it through this.
this reminds me of two summers ago. i spent the entire summer with my boyfriend, hanging out with him and going places, eating out and getting ice cream. my favorite night is when we sneaked out at 3 am. it was still bright outside. we spent the next three hours biking around town and looking at everything. it was so quiet and calm. we spent an hour or so at a nearby park before we got food and headed back home, getting there at around 6 am. it was such a beautiful night, and such a wonderful one. i had never felt so happy and free until that day, and now all i can do is reminisce. we broke up last month due to distance issues, and i still miss him. i miss holding someone close. i haven't had such a free night since then nut i have friends that live near me now. maybe i can hang out with them at night over the summer. that would be nice to experience again. in 2021, i'm going to North Carolina. all the way across the country, to meet an online friend. i hope we'll have the nights of our lives, as we're going to be travelling together for three or so weeks. i'm excited.
@@qyunii marriage is good. You need to be married, not have boyfriends, God hates when men and women get together without committing to one another in marriage.
So, I'm at college and there's this girl I really like: she is extra-nice, fun, amazing, smart, beautiful, etc. I'm into her not because of the looks but rather the way she is. We've been friends for about 1 year and we've become very very close (just as friends). She hasn't friendzoned me because I suspect she does not know I really like her (she's too nice for that). She tells everyone she does not want a relationship right now and I respect it and understand it. I really like to spend time with her though. Listening to these beats makes me remember all the great times we've had and I always get some kind of nostalgia (?). This is me now :). Hope everyone finds someone that makes them feel good with themselves just as she does with me.
Next time you see her, have her listen to these beats on a rainy day then take her out to a nice coffee or tea shop or a French bistro. Then top it off with a trip to a classy art gallery, preferably impressionist or modern works from Europe. She will know how you feel in wonderful, subtle ways.
@@Supported-Characters Wow! I guess that I should tell everyone how my story is going as of right now... well, I kind of started to give her hints that I like her and, to my surprise, she ALSO gave me hints that she LIKES ME (?)... I was so surprised and happy and excited. This is why on Wednesday 11th I decided to "ask her out", nothing compromising but rather something chill; I invited her to this coffee shop near my college. Last Friday (March 13th) we "dated" and all went down BETTER THAN EXPECTED, we talked about how we felt and the coffee shop helped A TON (for some reason they ONLY played Sam Smith's songs, wonderful). Now with this coronavirus thing spreading like crazy we cannot see each other for quite some time but we text A LOT. I can't believe all this happened in less than a month. Now we just got to wait how everything turns out and she told me she is DOWN FOR ANOTHER DATE. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thanks for the advice and maybe next time we will go to an art gallery!

10/10 Would listen again. The smoothness of these tracks, really sets up the atmosphere quite well, in my honest opinion. It really helped calm me down, and put the inner demons, Anxiety, and Depression, at bay for a while. I could feel myself melting into the music, and drifting off someplace magical.
It's almost midnight and I'm just about to write because it's the best time to do it without the distractions of the day. My husband is beside me, well into his journey to dream land. There’s something about this time of the year that just makes me happy. The cold weather actually breathes in new life to me. Everyone is just so happy and hopeful. It’s truly the most magical time of the year.
Could you believe it? I've just listened to this video for many times within past four years and each time when i felt tired and nervous i will just go there and get some peace. Maybe life is just so simple and naive.
I am in the living room of my house. 1:52 am I have mom with me but she doesnt appreciate or even listen to the music. Its okay tho. Most of the time its hard to find people that enjoys the things you enjoy. That one person who really vibes with you. You cant find peace or happines outside if you cant find it inside first. No one will see this but wanted to share. We are all people of this world and these very tiny connections reminds me that everyone goes through same things feels the same feelings. My mom just left but ı think ım gonna enjoy the night by myself. Peace!
As a person that has to go through a 3 hours traffic everyday, I find the picture stressfull, but the music is deeply relaxing, with love from Panama✌🏼
music like this seems to help me appreciate the beauty of the ordinary things in human experience. the backgrounds for a lot of lofi seem to do the same thing. i love it and and find the ordinary extraordinary : )
mike zub that’s a beautiful way to put it. A few weeks ago a got back from out of state and had to clean the mess my room became and just move some stuff to be less cluttered and keep in mind I don’t like cleaning my room it’s boring but I suck it up and metal makes me rush to much and it sucks so I put on so lofi opened my window to get fresh air and the sounds of outside and got to cleaning and reorganizing and in top of that I actually enjoyed it it was faster to just a little chill music and fresh air got me going and dancing around the room fixing my bed picking up trash and redecorating for a good chunk of the day just in my mind in the beat happy and doing a mundane task was the most fun I’ve had in a long time a nice change of pace

I mean, i see people so kindly in the comments of this video, most than in any other video or page. Even most than in the real life. It is like all we're friends without know each other. Big hug to everyone! Never give up!
Aint that the truth!!
Love y`all!
It's been tough trying to piece together an essay that I'm ill prepared for but I've been able to listen to this and keep my head straight. Thank you
This was the best and most diverse arrangement of songs. I'm super chill and happy. Cleaning the house right now without feeling dragged or miserable
thanks!
Maybe not today nor tomorrow, but one day, I will see the rainy nights in Tokyo. Just you wait...
Rainy nights for all
When the lady in gold will be waiting on my doorstep, I hope it'll be a genuine shoji door. But won't mind the wheather, I just think my immortal soul has it better over there.

Only one thing to say: this is a masterpiece 💎

I sometimes think it would be cool to get to know the people listening to this :)
Wish everybody a nice and calm day.

thank you for this , really !!

Ever since I was a little kid, I've always loved hip hop beats mixed with jazz music. It's so soothing and relaxing. I love the fact that this is instrumental with no lyrics. Puts me in a very productive state of mind while working, listening and bopping along. Very nice.

this reminds me of two summers ago. i spent the entire summer with my boyfriend, hanging out with him and going places, eating out and getting ice cream. my favorite night is when we sneaked out at 3 am. it was still bright outside. we spent the next three hours biking around town and looking at everything. it was so quiet and calm. we spent an hour or so at a nearby park before we got food and headed back home, getting there at around 6 am. it was such a beautiful night, and such a wonderful one. i had never felt so happy and free until that day, and now all i can do is reminisce. we broke up last month due to distance issues, and i still miss him. i miss holding someone close. i haven't had such a free night since then nut i have friends that live near me now. maybe i can hang out with them at night over the summer. that would be nice to experience again. in 2021, i'm going to North Carolina. all the way across the country, to meet an online friend. i hope we'll have the nights of our lives, as we're going to be travelling together for three or so weeks. i'm excited.
Pal, I'm wishing you the best of luck.

:)
Did you tell her how you feel?

Could you believe it? I've just listened to this video for many times within past four years and each time when i felt tired and nervous i will just go there and get some peace. Maybe life is just so simple and naive.
I think you said it perfectly. Life is simple, but humans tend to over complicate everything and that i what makes us feel tired, sad, hopless.
I am in the living room of my house. 1:52 am
I have mom with me but she doesnt appreciate or even listen to the music.
