What makes the difference between a real Music Man bass and this clone? I really don't understand why a Music Man is 20 times more expensive. Any comments?
A lot has to do with brand value besides better Hardware and craftsmanship. Sort of like why walmart shoes cost 10 bucks and well made leather shoes 500
Yup... Spending more on Brand name. Harley Benton may use cheaper hardware but they are above the quality you find on Epiphone and some Ibanez and Fender Squires. If you can't afford that $250,000 + automobile... at least what you own now does the job for your wants and needs. Unless you only own a push bike .. then that's a different story...

I love this bass. I think you get more for your money with this than the generic jazz bass we all know and love.
