This is what bass demos should look like. Solid grooves that you can listen to and pick up certain characteristics of the instrument, not random soulless noodling and blabbering about specifications that you can check in 10 seconds. Other channels should take note.
@@AlexandarShmex agreed. Put the Kloppmann pickups in any 60s spacing jazz and it will sound like this. However, the pickups themselves are super expensive, like $400 USD shipped.

Agreed, and Rainer is a wizard, we're lucky to have these videos. My primary use of them is to study and practice the grooves.
This might be the sweetest sounding bass I've ever heard
Bass and player are astonishing!! An inspirational video!
Maybe the nicest sounding Jazz I’ve heard on UA-cam so far. And such clean playing, love it!
Love those Kloppmann pups.
Your playing is stellar ! Thank you for this great review ;-)
best playing on one of these demos. THANK YOU. So helpful
So great, the tones and the playing. Love the Dunlop MM Super brights, too.
first tune is amazing! all played very good like usual..and the pickups of this bass are unbelievable!
Best tone amazing player. Ordering soon
Sandberg makes stellar instruments. I hope one day to own one.
That slap piece is insane. The instrument itself sounds brutal, best jazz tone I've heard, but way out of my price range.
I just looked this one up. If you go for the matt black one then it gets WAY cheaper because it's not aged.
@@57precisionStill too expensive, the key is the pickups.

Great bass. AMAZING bass player.
Very enjoyable clip.
Sounds so good and I love the relic effect, looks better than a Fender Custom Shop job. 😊
I bet this guy could sell any bass he demos…nice chops! But yes this btw Sandberg has great tones
We funk-jazz bass players love a clean tone sound with highs and Lowe's...runs,thumps,fingering etc
Nice playing 🔥🔥🔥 that bass speaks , again nice playing
Amazing! Thank you! A perfect sounding Jazz Bass! ❤
Great demo!! Wow!
Is that just the bass running straight into your interface? That sound is absolute creamy!
Yes, absolutely: Just the bass, straight into the interface! 🙂
Great playing! Bass sounds great also! Is that the black, cheaper btw bass behind you? If so, can you say how it sounds/plays differently to this one?
Signal chain?

Which strings do you use? And which amp? Baught me now the Black BTW BAss with ash body.... cant wait to hold it in my hands
What strings were on the bass?
Dunlop Marcus Miller Superbrights 45-105 are the stock strings.
