Great review as always...:) Your knife self-defense techniques are getting better and better every time I see them. I'm a long time Escrima(Filipino Martial Arts instructor)..:). I also agree that a bigger knife like this one is usually more comfortable when carried horizontally. And with how a human's hips are designed if you're going to carry a knife like this horizontally "scout carry" makes the most sense. I think Eafengrow makes good blades. Keep up the great work...:)
I have several eafengrow folding knives ive bought over the last few years and all work great not a bad experience yet. They were one of the companies that falsely stated knives were out of D2 steel in the past and people tested them and they weren't but that's awhile back. They've got it sorted out now as far as Ive seen knives always flip open and close great and only one wasn't centered but was easily fixed great knife for the money!😊 ⚔ 🗡 ⚔ 🤷🏻♂️
I bought the EF 125, its not as big as the 131, but it is a good knife for camping and general knife work. Plus the price is very good. My only complaint is the kydex sheath, which is why to tight.
there are various belt attachments you can use to carry the kydex sheath lower.....and you can fairly easily make one yourself. Or you can take off the tek lok style clip, and put the kydex sheath into a drop leg rig.
beautiful balanced design, DC53 is reported to have 2x the. wear resistance and toughness compared to D2. DC53 has minimum Chromium 8% which keeps it from being considered stainless steel which generally is 13% - 18% Chromium + some Nickel. It would be nice to see a corrosion test. Otherwise, seems like an incredible blade for $49.00 !
Love that style blade . But I don't like the false edge on top as I don't usually stab what I'm working on lol cleaning game and bushcraft... whittling and I baton quite a bit... but does definitely have a very nice look .
There's a knife I got a while back from Amazon that I think you'd like. I'll send you the link from another site that I saw it on. There's also a tanto version of it too.
Awesome review there and really good throwing skills also , this blade does shout some combat in it , good to see the blade perfect hit to the target when throwing , confirms not gonna miss out when the neighbors start running 😂😂😂.
@@411Outdoors Thanks, scout carry is a bit tough with a backpack, so I prefer vertical mount. Given the success of EF someone should make custom sheaths.
The Eafengrow reps are great!!!
Truly!
I think you may have an addiction daniel.
Good strong angles
@@nathangrueber9834 😂😂 maybe but the good thing is, it keeps my channel popping lol
@@nathangrueber9834 thanks bro!

Much appreciated my friend! 🙂
I'm a "Knife" fan in Northern, VA
I just bought a 131 - based on your fine review and recommendations.
You are right, this is a beautiful knife. Thank you!
Anytime!

Good review, keep ‘em comin!👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks! Will do!
Sweet looking knife. Probably get arrested for even looking at the catalogue, here in UK. Another great review. 👍🏼
Thanks so much! UK does have some strict laws for sure
Just ordered one. I hope it's DC53 steel (japaneese Sleipner) and well heat treated.
Came here for the knife review, saw the self-defense knife skills. Krav instructor here. Great channel!
Much appreciated!🙂
Lordy! This is my next blade.
Great review. Good-looking knife. Ordering shortly from your Amazon link.
Thank you! You’ll love it🙂👍
Great review, also supping up the autumn colour changes here in the UK, love it!
I have 8 eafengrow knifes and this is my favorite by far.
Some problems with the handle? Some rattle in the handle?
I was gifted an Eafengrow EF 128. I'm not a fan of the kydex sheath, so I built a leather one for scout carry, with a leg drop panel to carry vertical
EXCELLENT!!!!
Props to you as well brother!
I feel the love, gentlemen. Appreciate you both leading by example.💯
I wish it was 4mm thick, but I'd buy one.
Thanks, nice video review.
Take the clip off, run a bolt and washer through one of the mounting holes and appendix carry it. I regularly carry a 5 to 7 inch blade concealed
Great review thanks for sharing brother
No pleasure! 🙂 thank you

What's your opinion on the APO 1 knife? Would you pick it over a srk or this knife, and is it good for throwing?
You could definitely throw that one👍 hockey tape the scales though. I like it better than srk for sure!
@@411Outdoors thanks
would you do a recommendation/ review for EDC horizontal carry blade for us city dwellers? Thank you👍🏻🇺🇸
Did you get a chance to check out my clinch pick 2.0 review? That and the Tops Saw 02 make awesome horizontal carry in the front 🙂👍

It’s gorgeous
Aww man you did a good one on this one! 👍🏻
Good job.....i bought the EF135...instead of EF131.....
What do you think EF135 .....Do ypu like it ?
Bye and big Kiss to FRANCE ❤❤
I’m definitely going to take a look at that blade because I might get a chance to review another one🙂👍
Awesome review, cheers dude, 😎👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Did you have some problems with the handle? Some rattle in the handle?
If you throw it will. I hockey all handles of knives I throw anyway
What's the hole by the chil for?
That am unsure of my friend
Hang your car keys through it 🤣
Thank you, I’ve been looking at this Mfg products for a while now. I think that this will be my choice, but perhaps with green, sorry. 🥴
Yep I like that alot

Saw your milspec tanto review and that's the same brand that I got my knife from Amazon. Except it's more of a spear point.
Thanks for the review! Eafengrow brand seems to be bringing budget prices on good knives.
Would you consider reviewing the ef 127?
I’ll definitely take a look at that🙂👍
4:53 it is definitely throw time!
🙂👍
I have 2 dan they're great blades
Where in VA are you? Southwest here, close to TN.
More like mid state 🙂👍

😂😂😂Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice looking knife, it’s a shame it carries so high, no option for vertical carry either is a bummer.
You can definitely adjust it to be horizontal across the back

I have 2 efg 127 140 great price
