- This kitten was found in a very bad shape with his eyes all shut... But as soon as his eyes were opened at the clinic, we saw how full of life and brave this little kitty was. And as his face got cleaner over time, it turned out that he had a cute little teardrop shaped fur on his cheek!

The initial photo was heart-wrenching and shocking- but the wise neighbor who found the kitten knew enough to call one of the most compassionate people on earth! It was a wonderful blessing to learn of all that you and the medical staff did to save this kitten’s life, and to transform him into a healthy, happy, playful kitty! This was a great way to start off the year, and I hope that in some future video we will learn of a kind individual or family in Turkey who has welcomed this sweet kitty into their home to stay. My 18-year-old cat is struggling with no appetite. but seeing this little baby eating so well warmed my heart. helps me to remember how lucky I am to have my baby live to be as old as she is, never having been threatened the way this poor little kitty was. thank you, as always...💜💜💜

My old baby made it to 18 and a half, cancer took him and when he wouldn't eat, Churu was a lifesaver. He never turned down Churu, and usually once he ate some of that, he had a bit of appetite to eat his wet food. Good luck with your kitty
Your vet should be able to provide an appetite stimulant gel that is rubbed into the ear. Painless and really helped my boy when he was in liver failure.
When one of my cats was ill and had no appetite my vet recommended I feed her Fancy Feast brand of canned wet food. It worked. She loved that food. Also maybe some catnip would help with your cat's appetite. Best wishes.

This was so sad at the beginning and reminded me of a kitten I rescued in summer 2023. He was mistreated and malnourished; he had not been neutered or vaccinated. He spent 2 days receiving intravenous fluids and antibiotics. I treated his eyes for six days. He never had the energy to play, and his greatest pleasure was to sleep on my lap. It turned out that he had serious underlying health problems and he died after 11 days in my care. At least he knew peace, safety, food and love. I am so happy that the kitty in the video is happy and thriving. Walter Santi will be sure to find him the perfect loving home.

OMG, poor kitten! We rescued one very similar with eye, ear, and chest infections, fleas and worms. She weighed 8 ounces and was so skinny! Now she is healthy and happy and joined our forever home with other rescued cats. Your rescued kitten is so beautiful - surely someone will fall in love with him very soon. As painful to see him in the beginning those 17 days in the clinic did a miracle. So skinny and ill with flees and inflamed eyes. Now he has become a round little cat with the nose of a clown so sweet and cute. Why didn't the foster family want to keep him ? Let us know when you have found him a home, he needs to live with a family before he becomes an adult cat. Good luck and a Happy New Year !!

Our second kitten/cat we found at a hospital, all matted, with fleas, ear mites and a distended tummy. But he had the most determination of any cat I have ever seen. He thrived, chased our adult cat all over and wasn't afraid of anything. Loved him so much.
