That’s why it bothers me when people complain about the multiverse being shoved In because it’s the latest trend even though DC has been doing this for a long time

If they bring back the Justice League but they're from another universe, that doesn't change the fact the Arkham Justice League is still dead and died from unfitting deaths.
If the main universe of THIS game is an ALTERNATE Arkham universe and the Justice League that arrives are the ones from the ACTUAL Arkham universe, then I'll be fine with that.
I was always thinking that this batman got dumbed down cause of braniac's mind control and it affected how he works and thinks since braniac made them into something like a machine for him to use
I would be more okay if we see the real Arkhamverse Justice League not mind controlled and fully alive at the end, but that still doesn't explain how 4 people who each could easily take down the entire Suicide Squad in their sleep lost to the Squad and didn't even damage any of the Squad, and it also doesn't explain how a normal bullet from Harley's gun went through Batman's bulletproof helmet
I mean how could any other one be the main one? This is the one that had Kevin Conroy voicing Batman and he's gone now. Any other one just won't be the same.
The multiverse is the emergency exit for this crap. Once this fails miserably they can say this was “A” Arkhamverse, the “THE” Arkhamverse.

Being able to listen in on the enemies' next move is pretty useful.
I only see 2 ways for this to end without having a flood of fans at the door of Rocksted's studio, 1st the heroes we face are not the real ones but alternative versions that have been corrupted by the Brainiac, and the real ones are somewhere probably fighting to escape (like lego DC super villians), 2nd alternative versions of the sister heroes replace them in the end (personally I think this is a bit lame because there were 3 Batman games so that we could understand his mind, see him being replaced by another Batman who even went through the same things, He doesn't carry the same weight that we carry with him in his story)
3rd option, it is possible there's a way to save them and we just haven't seen it yet. Like an option between killing or saving them that, in the end, will lead to different endings.

5th option. Non canonize this game and make Arkham Beyond.

It will probably be retconned leading up to the Arkhamverse, since there are multiple universes at play. Brainiac is also known to keep the original specimen locked away in his ship while making copies of it. Public outrage has already overshadowed this story let alone the game itself.

@@TD-ht8dz Clearly the boss fight is to toe with either a clone or Brainiac using an avatar from a biomechanical machine Justice League to fight against the Suicide Squad but I think Brainiac only capture them and keeps them in a tube off-screen. It's not like I hope they are alive but rather a possibility of bringing them back rather than ended their lives that could ruined and disband Rocksteady studio.

i mean this kinda solves/answer on deadshot is different, young ivy, batman is around and so on. this is not the original earth from the arkham games. so that earth is still around untouched assumingly.
Deadshot shooting the free "UAV" lex has just shows how incompetent the writers at Rocksteady are lol. Also just make it a multiverse story. So you can ignore any previous In universe character and make them "your own story". Any plotholes or character inconsistency can be explained by its an alternate version.

The funny thing is that Clancy Brown, the guy who’s most famous role is probably Mr. Krabs, also voiced Lex while also voicing the Greek God Hades in God of War as well.

I wish they would explain what they did to Deadshot. In Arkham Origins and Arkham City and Assault on Arkham he was white, now he's black, not that big of a deal as long as they explain it, but they also just removed every bit of likeable personality from him and just made him a trigger happy goofy idiot. Maybe this Deadshot could be from an alternate universe just like this Lex is and the weird new Joker is. Also the Justice League that we kill had better be that of an alternate universe
Edit: I mean explain with an explanation that actually makes sense and is possible, cause there is no possible way the OG serious and badass Deadshot with a daughter named Zoe and his name being Floyd Lawton could be an imposter and that this idiotic goof who misses his shots even in cutscenes could be the real one
Rocksteady says that Deadshot from the Arkham games is a copycat.
The original DeadShot was supposedly an impostor (sus) so the real DeadShot killed him after 10 year's of the impostor (sussy) using his identity I feel like the real world reason they changed him is so the characters could be more in line with the Suicide Squad movie version of the characters because even King Shark has been changed he had a far more different design in the Assault on Arkham movie where he wasn't a shark but a huge bullet proof man with a metal jaw resembling shark teeth King Shark was also killed in that very film so King Shark shouldn't even exist this game just ignores all other continuity
I hate that they retconned OG Deadshot. In Assault on Arkham, that version of Deadshot was pretty awesome.

The Arkham series has a lot of references to the DCAU and in an episode of Justice League, Brainiac makes evil clones of them. So maybe this is what’s going on.
