Dual EP Cube Battery Backup Installation - Day 1 of 2

This is a featured battery backup project that is using two Canadian Solar EP Cube battery units for roughly 30kWh of battery storage and 15kW of backup power. The EP Cube system was retrofitted to an existing dual SolarEdge 7.6kW inverter setup that was installed by Tesla Energy a few years prior.

You just use the add-on kit from EP Cube and it wires to the bus bar in the smart gateway.

Nice looking system, your team is doing a beautiful job of installation. I believe that the device in the static resistant envelope is a diode not a transistor. Single transistors usually have 3 leads. Everything seems to be surface mount these days so I haven't seen a component transistor is a few decades :)
