Cruise ship BEHIND THE SCENES tour on Norwegian Breakaway
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 сер 2024
- Here is a behind the scenes tour of the NCL Norwegian Breakaway. This covers the laundry area and galleys mostly. Enjoy, comment and subscribe!
I have been on this ship, the food is flawless both in appearance and taste, it's amazing how these chefs can do this, they are truly the best chefs in the world. Seeing it is one thing, but tasting it is another, these chefs are amazing, and the staff on NCL is always helpful and friendly, if you call housekeeping, they'll be there fast, their staff are all over the ship, you can't throw a paper cup without hitting one of them. If you haven't been on NCL, I highly recommend you do, you won't regret it.
62202ify that’s so awesome

Richard Hidalgo I totally agree with you, Richard. You should subscribe as I have many other cruise videos that I think you’ll enjoy. :-)
@@DrGariS please, I saw the way they clean, with a towel they clean the bathrooms plus they do not change de cover I saw the housekeepers go and come out from the cabins in 5 minutes what kind of clean they will do.
Simple Simple too bad you had an unusual experience like that. Usually they are MUCH better! :)
And then you just give tips to the waiters and cabin cleaners? You dont even give a single penny to the ones cooking food for you. Thats the sad reality inside. Waiters and cabin stewards has a bigger salary than asst. Cooks and cooks yet they get the tips from guest. They dont even share sone to the kitchen staffs.
el Tambulero it doesn’t work that way. Most cruise lines charge a per diem per person. That gratuity is spread evenly throughout the service staff, including the people seen in this video.
I love it, love it
Maria Guardiola thanks so much. I have a lot of awesome vids like this. You should subscribe! :)
Nice that they hold tours of some of the places behind the scenes like that, lets the passengers appreciate all the hard work that goes into making each cruise successful...........
My only problem would be that as an old navy guy and a long time shipyard electrician, I would long for a trip to the engine room, and see the engineering plant and generators. And unfortunately, I doubt that would allow that.
John Cantrell wow, now THAT would be awesome. I’ve been on many ships and am VIP with almost all of them and I’ve never seen an engine room tour. How cool would that be? Wow!
DrGariS in a way, I can understand if they do not offer that, though I wish it could be different. I imagine that it would be a liability issue. The stairwells and catwalks down in the engineering spaces probably tend to be a bit steeper than other places on the ship.
As well as being around the engineering equipment could be hot and noisy at times, and that might make it difficult at times to hear a presenter talking to the group. And it might not be as comfortable for the passengers to be down there.
But, to those of us that work in that environment, and know what to expect, I would still do it and love doing it! 😄
John Cantrell yeah! I’m sure you will one day. If you want to, you can even book the cruise through me!
To all passengers.. you need to understand that thier salary are very low. . But companies like this keeps on growing and making a new ship.. ..so respect the crew don't give them a lot of work by your complain.
HARD WORKING PEOPLE is all I have to say!!!!
Christy Stevens so true!!!
What is that white scarf station supervisor
Chef Martin Fernandes from Goa 🇮🇳
Bagus Mas....Indonesia bisa keliling dunia...hebat....semangat terus Mas........semangat Mas......

I was one in the NCL cruise and now I'm going to another Cruise In Jan to P. R AND ANOTHER TO HAWAII IN OCT
Maria Guardiola that’s really awesome. You should subscribe. Also, if you don’t already have a travel agent, I get the best rates on NCL. Gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com - feel free to send me a message and mention UA-cam for an additional onboard credit.
I won't use any cruise line BUT NCL, they wait on you hand and foot, staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is incredible, if anyone reading this hasn't been on an NCL cruise, you owe it to yourself to do so.
62202ify they are awesome. Feel free to use me on the next one and I’ll save you money!
Maria Guardiola welldone on all your hard work onboard. We appreciate you.
Kerja semangat Mas....untuk masa depan.......
Filming is not allowed on Royal Caribbean behind-the-scenes tours , only pictures. And apparently carnival cruise lines behind the scenes tours don't allow photos or filming.
RM PA yeah I wouldn’t dream of doing this on the RCCL one! :)
I did thisntour 6 years ago
Jenny From the Block how did you like it?
Did the behind-the-scenes tour go to the bridge?
RM PA no - that’s always a separate tour.
What educational background do they need to work in a cruise ship as a commis 1 dubai experience in 5 star hotels and salary pls thanks
Ur feedback would be very important
Eric Golden Chef I’m not sure. I would contact the HR department of NCL
@@DrGariS thanks a lot for ur feedback am gonna be kindly waiting to hear back from u
Eric Golden Chef you need to contact the cruise lines! You also need to be prepared to work every day for maybe 9 months!
Good job,,
I’m so happy you enjoyed it 😃
@@DrGariS I will join at the Norwegian Dawn soon, pray for it

Any English working there or just just people who don't have any experience?
t pluszak i don’t understand your question! What do you mean?
@@DrGariS What you don't know?!
t pluszak what was your original question? There are people who work on the ship from the UK if that’s your question. I’m not sure what you’re asking.
Knowing English does not guarantee experience
If they only know that all crew are having a very low salary in a cruiseship
If who only knew?
Jangan terpengaruh....sama orang orang yang mau menghancurkan kapal kapal pesiar...dan pariwisata......kita orang orang baik hati...orang orang kuat...yang tidak bisa di hancurkan sama manusia manusia iri dengki........
An abundance of talking and scarcity of the real action. 😩
John De Jong want do you mean?
I mean that when you have the oppertunity to film behind de scene why not showing the real action instead of filming the man with the explinations about what they do in the laundry and kitchen departments. Action tells us so much more about the insane quantity of things to handle.
John De Jong This is the only thing they allowed to see behind the scenes for their VIP guests
John De Jong This is the only thing they allowed to see behind the scenes for their VIP guests! My guess is that when people are doing actual labor in the areas, it’s difficult for other people to see it due to liability issues and safety. But that’s only a guess
@@DrGariS It should not be a gues. National Geographic and the BBC pressented a documentary about the world behind de scene of large cruise ships. You paid money for nothing, But i admire your attemt.
I worked one month in the break away , i just complaint about a little dizziness, and they fired me right away. That is Hell, i remember my first contract in the Epic in 2017 , 9 month ,11 hours day, no day off, only sleep 4 hours a day. I can say now I am free and happy watching the slaves working on UA-cam lying in my big bed in Honduras.,🤗🙃 Remember you only live one time.
gabriel aguilar casco omg that sounds so miserable. I’m so glad you’re now comfy and don’t need to be pushed around that way. Thanks for watching!
@@DrGariS you misunderstood me, I want to say those workers are treated like slaves.
gabriel aguilar casco yes I know. How did I misunderstand?
gabriel aguilar casco they know when they sign up they have zero days off. They get paid, hardly ‘slaves’ as most earn enough to send plenty home. They are hard working, seems you aren’t, no shame fir you but please don’t try to act superior.
you're not used to military type of environment that's how ship's life goes. This is one good training ground to learn camaraderie, perseverance, hardwork and etc. If you cannot stand then its time to say goodbye. 😊
Those indian chefs are so cheap manpower for cruise liners.. . Working more then 12-15 hour per day.. 😬😬😬😤😲😲😲 but they need to feed there own familly members.. !!! the individual hair can divide responsiblity on there familly ..
Anthony FRANCIS. They work really hard - this is so true
