Agreed, it is lovely and beautifully done but after that introduction I expected it to be closer to a pas de deux, I’ve seen a lot of female duets in ballet (in the sense of two women dancing around each other or in sync) so was hoping this would be more of a pas de deux in that sense - more partnerwork
After that introduction speech I was hoping for more...partnering. This is two people (beautifully) dancing around each other.

Teach these dancers Kaeja Elevations and they could lift eachother over their heads. Partnering is possible no matter your gender or size.

Not for me. This is modern dance with angular ugly movements.
Not ugly, but certainly not the beautifully romantic choreography you usually get with a pas de deux, which is what I was hoping for :(
