- Shannen Doherty's 'Charmed' co-star, Holly Marie Combs, shares how her longtime friend would feel about the response to her death. In a special episode of Shannen's 'Let���s Be Clear' podcast, Holly reflects on the 'outpouring of love' the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star has received since she died.
I loved Shannen Doherty since 1990 when she played Brenda in season 1 .. so 34 yrs I loved and been a fan of hers ... She will definitely be missed😢❤
I feel sorry for Holly, but I feel worse for Shannen's Mom. There's nothing worse than losing a child. I know first hand. You never get over it. Its the nightmare with no end. I hope her Mom has a lot of family and friends to lean on. RIP Shannen 🙏❤
Yes, I don't have children, but I know loss. In my perspective you never move on, you just move forward the way you can ❤ and in your own time.
Cliché. You are making makes a broad generalization about a complex and deeply personal experience.Some people get over it; not all mothers are the same. Some mothers may have a strong connection with their son and daughters but also have a rich spiritual life that helps them accept tragedies and move on, enjoying life.

Grow a pair and talk about something you actually know something about. Its not our fault you ended up with a Mom who didn't care about you.

No need for you to be so patronising toward other peoples grief. People grieve differently. I have moved forward, I live my life and am happy and content. Doesn't mean I don't remember or think about them or miss them. That's me. You do you. If you don't agree it's fine, you grieve your way which is fine, others grieve their way. Take care 🌸

@@jamiesmith6950I think you're getting the ladies mixed up. Shannen talks about it in the first few episodes of the podcast. She was friends with Holly (Piper) for three decades. Even before the show and wouldn't do the show without Holly. Allyssa (Phoebe) threatened to sue if they didn't get rid of Shannen. She thought she was the bigger star and should get more money even tho Shannen helped put a lot of the early show together. Holly wanted to quit without Shannen but was threatened with a lawsuit so she made them go with what story Shannen wanted to tell about the firing. At the time she was worried she'd lose work if people knew she had been fired so she said she quit. Holly just tried to stay neutral and do her job but they were friends until the very end. Alyssa however made backhanded compliments and lied about Shannen for the last decade.

It’s so painful to see people you really love to die. Befor I lost 2 very important people in my life-one was my best friend and then my father…- I thought that it’s just something that’s not gonna happen to people around me. I've loved Shannen since the last season of Little House on the Prarie! She was an amazing actress & was one of my favs of all time. I'm pissed at how media treated her! I'm pissed she didn't get the recognition she truly deserved! She was a Icon & one of the most NATURALLY gorgeous women on the planet! This GA girl is heartbroken for her family & friends but also us fans! Cancer robbed us of a beautiful gift!

She was so screwed over by so many people and situations yet she was still a beautiful soul.

These two had a beautiful and very real friendship and "sistership" ♥️♥️. I remember when Shannen and Holly both were very young actresses and we watched them both grow into beautiful accomplished women and actresses. My daughter and I were hoping and praying Shannen would survive her battle. She certainly was a warrior. Both of us are very sad she is gone. It doesn't seem real. I watched Holly on her podcast and cried when she did. I know she's missing her sister friend so much. My condolences to her and her son who is Shannen's godson. To Shannen's mom, brother, her family, friends and fans. We were huge fans. Soar with the angels Shannen. You touched all our lives and will be missed so much.♥️💔😥

I met Holly last year at FanX in Salt Lake City. I told her that I enjoyed watching her and Shannen in Off the Map. She said that they were hoping to do another one. You could see their special friendship.

I hope this isn't misunderstood, but I can't accept that Shannon Dorothy is truly gone. I guess it's my deep love for *Charmed* keeps her alive in my mind. I constantly imagine all the ways Prue could have returned, with the endless possibilities of multi-universes and spiritual planes. Recently, I've been questioning the existence of God. If He exists, why would He let this happen to us? Maybe I'm not meant to understand the reasons, but I firmly believe Shannon's story isn't over. He can't be finished with her.
I still can’t understand or really believe and accept the death of my partner of several years dying suddenly on Easter morning. It’s natural to have moments of denial when we grieving, especially when we have videos of them alive and thriving. I watch the short films we made together and it’s like he’s still here. Love never dies.

I've been listening to the podcast the last few days and am appreciating her so much more. I already liked her but knowing her side of a lot of the mistruths told about her that she never lowered herself to address make me love her so much more. As a cancer survivor myself I admire her perspective and work to give us a voice.

As a breast cancer survivor, this hits very hard. I was diagnosed in 2012. I still have fear about recurrence.
Loved Shannen and her talent and her strong, no BS type of character. That strength made her one hell of a warrior throughout her life and career, she didn't have to preach about it, you could see it. Everyone has their favorite shows with Shannen, but i even loved her when she hosted "Scare Tactics", she was perfect on that hilarious and brilliant show, another TV classic. She's one of those memories with a smile of my younger years, and an inspiration forever, RIP Shannen.

It really sucks that she suffered that long, but she worked hard on trying to keep herself together and made something of herself before she went and didn't take it in to herself and she shared what she was going through. I think that's awesome and I'm glad you guys were still best friends

While I didn't watch a ton of things Shannen Doherty starred in it's still really sad to me she died so young. She WAS still in things that I saw and loved (Heathers for example) and was a staple of TV in the 90s even if it was TV I didn't watch.
It's truly sad that she is gone. I had no idea she was going through that. It's so awful how quickly we all disappear into time.
At least now she has found peace- small comfort though it may be.

I find it interesting that Jennie Garth would go on this media blitz about her QVC line around the time she is supposedly grieving. Why couldn't you have waited to do that? On top of that, when Luke Perry died, someone she truly loved, she never once did a public interview about his death until many months after.
