@@frankboyd. Hey, Frank, do you know Howard? The retired US cavalry tank colonel? I met H (also from CA) at Port Askaig, on the Isle of Islay, 2 years ago, while waiting for the ferry to Colonsay. H was on a grand tour of Scotland, with most of his family - and his cowboy hat (complete with campaign badges and those little cord twists).
All right ladies!! No fear, running head long into disco which didn't always suck.....some great things came out that era. Bravo for not staying in your lane!

The Bee Gees never considered it Disco, it was written as R&B
Bee Gees were underrated big time. The song isn't even about dancing it's about how hard scrabble New York was at the time to them
@@christinanafziger6423 To this day they are underrated, Barry Robin and Maurice were just as successful as the Beatles and don't get half the recognition. They get blamed for "disco" when they were R&B pop... The songs they've written and the late 80s and 90s hits are all overlooked... Barry's given 60 years to music and certainly not gotten it back.

Growing up, the rock crowd said, “disco sucks” & despised this song. So I accepted that. Until I was grocery shopping & saw this lady dancing down the aisle as “Stayin’ Alive” blared! My jaw dropped at how bad ass this song is! This video only proves it again! Thanks! ❤️Larkin Poe!!

Well now you've gone and done it, you made me enjoy a song by The Bee Gees whom I have always despised. This was nearly on the level of the late Telecaster master Danny Gatton getting me to actually love an instrumental version of a Beach Boys tune (In My Room). If it was anybody else on UA-cam covering this song I absolutely would not have clicked on it.
