But for the first turn of the first game, you should have put the Foundry Mechanic on the Companion side. Then both you and your opponent would have advanced, so you missed a whole advancement by putting it on the Hero expedition
I’m assuming you mean gameplay-wise? I don’t personally feel like watching Altered portrays how deep the decision making can get in the game. It’s super quick to learn if you already know other TCGs, so could be worth a try. I think going through it first hand and making the decisions yourself can help you see how impactful some of the decisions can be

You are right! I'm quite certain I got locked into "I can only defend" at that point, not thinking about how there was no Token there to prevent it!
