Glad you figured it out because I don't really like reading the instructions either 😂 evidently you didn't get the extended warranty . I have a hard time seeing smaller things also and am thinking about possibly getting some kind of small stickers for something I can remove incase something goes south while it's still under warranty. I just got this exact camera hunted for thirty plus years and never used one. Thanks for the video made it easy for me to understand and setup. I’m old school so not good with technology.!!! Lol
Great video thanks. Just picked one up from walmart the other day and was wondering how to set it up. Do have a question though . Do you have to take sd card out and put in a computer to see how many images it took or does it show on camera? Thanks again
2024, i have 5 of these things, duracell batteries last 2.5 years. 1700 pics off one of the cameras and one set of batteries!! Best picture, no but good enough and if they get stolen I'm not out much.
That’s awesome! That’s the way I feel about them. It’s not 4K, but you can see what’s out there. The short videos eat up my batteries. It’s cheap so if it get stolen your not out 300.00.
Just wanted to say you did a very good job with this video. You covered it all and imo did a much better job than the others I’ve watched. Thank you. Also I just gotta mention you sound just like Dennis Burkley talking 😄👍🏻
How do you get to see pictures off Sim card rest of mine I can put in my digital camera and see all pictures this one says no images. Bought card reader and downloaded huntsman app still nothing
I just always put the card in my computer and it works. I have heard of from some that some cards don’t work with it. I bought the recommended cards for it.
Very helpful review. Just bought this exact camera. Trying to catch we think a raccoon getting in our dog food down where we keep the other livestock food. Just set it up following your video. Think I've already caught it on video. I'll check tomorrow. I pretty much had set it up without reading the instruction booklet. Pretty straight forward set up. But, with your review I double checked what I had already done. Thank you for this no bull review.
That was very helpful I still don't know is there different size as far as big or small SIM cards I know you say there's a little SIM card in the 32 GB Trey there but you get the tray I didn't have a tray with this camera they don't come with the tray
I bought a bunch of these, they give you the bare essential job, you get what you pay for..Don't look for fine detailed pics, especially when the animal is moving, all you get is a blur, and when the batteries get weak, the time stamps change so that you don't get an accurate account of when the picture was taken. If you need to have a lot of cameras to cover a wide area, they will do (for the price). If you desire nice pictures, spend a little more and get a better camera. If you are only interested in seeing what is in your area, these work fine, to a point.
They go through batteries fast..other than that for the money you can't beat em..they do as good as my $180 Bushnell. Moultrie no,but for the money can't beat em,I leave mine out year round, some 4 yrs old now...my only complaint is flash drowns out pics sometimes.
Does the LCD display show you the cycle count of photo/video taken? Dis you access the light menu? Choices are LED (light emitting diodes), IR (infra red) and PIR (passive infra red) for what type of night illumination you prefer.
Nice video I was curious about these cameras I spent 20 dollars more and got a similar Bushnell branded cam and the controls and display are almost exactly the same I wonder if they came from the same factory
I got this same trail cam and it won't work with my MacBook Pro, it records in a different format so I can't view the images, I've tried three different SD Cards with the same problem. Maybe its mad for DOS operating systems?
I got 2 of them one works great but the latest one I bought took pictures but when I put the card in my reader the pictures started disappearing and I can’t see them I even tried formatting and everything what could I be doing wrong I even done your step by step advice
The batteries don’t last real long on these. The light on it will start to give out. I use a tester on my batteries to see what the charge is. This might be your issue. Put new batteries or the ones you have from the hood camera and see. Use a dark room or closet to see how long the lights stays in or fades on the unit you have first.

@@knightingalesaid that’s what I thought. I have that exact camera. It’s one of my favorites, super easy to use, but I would like a battery life reading. Thank you so much, I enjoyed your review.
I dont know. I suppose you have a good SD card for it. If its to cheap it may not work. And if the batteries are almost dead it wont video well. Batteries only last a couple of weeks, unless you get the rechargeable type. At night time it will be black & white. Daylight will be in color. I use a cheap battery tester to test my batteries. Make sure your red lights are coming on to illuminate the area at night. If the battery is almost dead they wont come on for long. And you will have a dark video.
I have this camera but when i get all steps set up and ready to start recording pics it says (Card) instead of back to the time on the screen whats the problem??
I don’t know! Tasco recommends using SanDisk® SD and SDHC Cards (up to 8GB capacity) in this Trail Cam. Mac users have a problem seeing the pictures sometimes. Did you delete reset your camera? It seems to me that some card’s won’t work with it. I think I bought a lower GB card.

Let me ask you a question! Do you think there is something wrong with you? 16,000 people watched this video and no one complained, but you. The buttons on this camera make a clicking sound. There is a large clock you can’t see. It makes a loud clicking sound. I don’t smack my lips that much. Just curious!
I have 2 of these but the older model. They take good pictures and videos. I bought 2 Spypoint Cell Links and put them on these and turned them into cell cameras. You can get the Cell link for $35ea. if you shop around. They come will 100 pictures a month for free. If you joint their club for $100 yearly, you get 250 pictures a month on every camera you have, even if like me you have 20 cameras. They do have different plans but they are per camera. I usually do pay $8 a month for unlimited pictures during deer season only on the 2 camera that are on my feeders, since there are coons, squirrels, birds and deer eating on the corn.
