My mom has always made me cut my hair short when I was growing up, as short as she has hers in the video at the end, last time I cut it short was 5th grade and I've been growing it out since then. ( I'm a freshman in highschool now ) and I was always so insecure about my hair cause of it always being so short growing up. Saturday night my mom dyed my hair and behind my back without telling me , butchered my hair ( it was uneven and half was long , half was short ) and I didn't know until I got in the shower to wash out the dye. I had a panic attack and I was screaming and crying. Long story short I was pissed off and still am. Keep in mind over these past 4 years this is my only time having long hair. it was past my chest ( big deal since I'm 6'1 ) and now its shoulder length. You guys are lucky.

Well before this video getting negative comments were very, very rare. Oh trust me, mean comments use to affect me like crazy, but as time went by I learned to deal with it better because most of the time the comments were just plain silly & I try think that those people aren't trying to genuinely hurt my feelings. +Arielle Nichole Most hair dyes/bleaches actually cause chemical reactions between the hair and the glue/adhesive used to make wigs, so only a very select few places will take dyed hair (the not for profit charities etc don't have the money to buy products etc to deal with the chemical reactions so don't accept dyed hair at all, most likely only private companies who make wigs to sell would have taken it).

She wasn't sure how short she wanted her hair and didn't feel comfortable cutting it all out at once, so she cut it in smaller portions, so she can't donate it and her hair was also bleached so it isn't suitable for donating it. It's her choice to give it away or not, she may not have even been aware of hair donating, so stop judging her decision.

She wasn't sure how short she wanted her hair and didn't feel comfortable cutting it all out at once, so she cut it in smaller portions, so she can't donate it and her hair was also bleached so it isn't suitable for donating it. It's her choice to give it away or not, she may not have even been aware of hair donating, so stop judging her decision.
Aww you look so beautiful with your new hairstyle, it has upset me seeing comments saying how you made a huge mistake etc but I don't think they understand that we don't live forever and we should make crazy choices while we are still young for instance I shaved my hair off for charity and not regretting it at all, (besides even if you didn't like it it's still hair and it will grow back haha) congrats ^-^ xxx
