I think I downloaded Steam files onto desktop, setting myself up for failure when I downloaded COD since it needs to be in the Program files (x86) file, but, overall, lot of fun, it seems only like an expansion (just different maps and different gun names) when compared to BO5 (Cold War)

@@jetx7159 if you don’t have a d drive or anything that try just launching the game and while u launch the game restart your pc instantly i tried every fucking method to fix the game everything these indian scammers made a video about but nothing works what worked for me was something as simple as launching tge game and restart your pc after you launch the game

worked for me although had slight variation my issue installed the game on my "D:" drive my HHD and it kept looking for the file on my NVME drive "F:" drive even thou there was no call of duty or steam file location on that drive currently. i jst added steam library folder and copied and made the same path the error code wanted and pasted jst the "randgrid.sys (3)" file on my NVME drive like it was looking for didn't copy the game over or anything and it worked.

@ you inow what worked for me if u press start it says launching but than after a while it just stops and you have to press start again, what worked for me is pressing start instantly after pressing launch the game/start restart your pc and open the game and thats how it worked for me atleast i tried fucking everything but after starting up the game and instantly restart my pc the game worked

What if it is looking for the file from a drive that is no longer installed on my pc. It says its in my F: drive but I no longer have that drive
