    Super easy. A lot of the time we will put a lazer and measure off that. We do a lot of residental houses with multiple stepdowns. And foundations are almost never level and always out of square😂. I like the trick with the shims under the bottom plate to lay out your top plate

      You can never see the laser 🤣👍🇨🇦

      @@DCtaping we will try and do it first thing in the morning if theres no shade around. I also find that green seems to be more visible than red.

    Thanks teach. Love your lessons keep em coming.. after 400 sheds under my belt this stuff makes so much sense. My goal is to build my 1st house alone by the end of next year. I need to make a video and have you critique me. Im a 1 man show. Companys the shed machine. Definitely will be using everything you taught me on the next build. Its a 14x32. Nothing compared to what you do. But i do the whole thing. Roofing. Windows. And paint. Your the man andrian

    is the window framing that close to the concrete wall allowing for interior framing and a wider casing. sure looked tight but could be a optical illusion from the camera

      No I think it was 2 ft 3 from brick plenty from concrete

    Why do you put the tyvek on top off the walls. Is the just a Canada thing

    • @framingbeast720
      @framingbeast720  9 місяців тому +1

      In Ontario we always put tyvek on the top plates to wrap the floor. Only once in southwestern Ontario (fusion homes) did they not want tyvek, only other exception would be if if was a zip system

      @@framingbeast720 yeah they want a continuous vapor barrier which is kinda stupid but whatever beats putting polly in between every joists 😎👍👍🇨🇦

      @@framingbeast720Currently working for fusion. Idk if it's a recent addition but they're now doing tyvek in between plates.
