I'm an old retired guy. I'm looking to buy a 20 pool route that comes with training. I know nothing about pools. Is this a bad idea?
It really depends on terms, financing, how many times he’s selling the pools for, allowing payments, warranty and so on.
Thank's for all your candidness about your experience in the field. I'm out here in las Vegas Nv and have about 68 pool's and doing that and all my repairs and special need can get to be a bit much .
So I think I'm going to take some of your advice and increase price so I can focus on better service because at the end of the day for me it's about the client's being happy .

All Great points Erik! I can't not wonder how great your savings would be if you were to weigh these costs (annual total) against the time it would have taken you tackle all of these tasks yourself (manpower hours) billed at your regular hourly rate. Nicely Done!
That would be a very interesting thing to calculate. I have a good feeling it’s completely one sided. Definitely worth paying for these services. I’m sure you found the same with your business!

Thank you for all your information... I am starting my Pool Cleaning Business now in June, What third party services would you recommend while I accumulate more accounts. As right now I am considering, liability insurance and pay the pool man app.
You’re very welcome. I’m glad you’re getting some use out of the videos. Definitely PTPM and SPPA insurance. The others you can get by without for the first 6 months or so. Hope that helps.
Hey! I was wondering what routing and reporting software you recommend? I am currently using Jobber and it does not offer the ability to send service reports with photos. I am between Aquasuite, Ion Pool Care, and Skimmer. What do you think is best?

I have been looking into pool service apps. There are so many choices, as you mentioned in your video. I am curious which one you use. I like Skimmer, but it is 50 cents a customer per month, which is pretty pricey. You mentioned paying $40 a month. Sounds like a good option to consider. Do you mind sharing your specific app?
Hey Bryan! Yes, there's a ton out there. I personally use ION Pool Care. It looks a little archaic in terms of how nice skimmer looks, but they charge a flat rate per amount of users. I think the first 2 users are like $39 a month. It does everything you need including reports if a client wants 6 months of their pool care, you can send it. You can upload as many pictures as you want, and it doesn't matter how many accounts you have. I hope this helps.

Hey you can get it free for a full year not matter how many user by signing into Zodiac Premium, they give it to you free, also will recommend signing anyways cause you can get free uniforms and marketing stuff plus money back
If you have SPPA why would you need a lawyer? Dont they have thier own that fights for you as part of thier service? Or does it not work like that?
