As always a clear and helpful presentation for the new AGM thermal Monoculars. Need to get first Thermal scope for Hunting squared away then move on to the AGM for general night forest walking and hiking. It will make detecting the animals in the light brush and forest along our nightly 6 mile out and back forest route really easy. The trail is adjacent to a strong running stream for about a mile of its length, so there are deer, coyote, opossum, beaver, skunk, muskrat, otter and lots of bunnies etc. concentrated at various points along this trail and they appear at different points of time during the four seasons of the year. Really helps when trying to record animal inventory in this area for Parks and Recreation options through out the year.
Good show. Surprised to hear battery life is that good with the 18650. Be interesting to know how it is in cold weather and recording. The Neith I am getting just over 2 hours but also doing a lot of recording with it.
It really is amazing for one battery. Is it still cold up there? We got over 4 hours on the Neith on the bench test and well over 3 hours in real use, recording etc. But we’ve had a lot of 80+ degree days down here too. Thanks for watching!
Yes sir it it. We believe the Sidewinder 640 image is a step above all the other AGM 640 image quality. It’s impressive. Thanks for watching and feel free to call us if you have questions, we’d love to have your business! 877-350-1818
And AGM has hinted that these new sub 20 NETD processors will come in their new scopes this summer. And if the picture quality is the same as the 640 Sidewinder it will be a game changer.
Binoculars harness boys. It's the only way I carry my monocular. Close to the chest, gun on the shoulder, tripod in the hand, walking up on pigs in the open. The best way to go that I've found. And cheap. They're about 30 to 40 dollars in Australia.
Yes sir they work great if you carry your rifle on your should. We carry our AR15’s cross body and cinched up across our chest so unfortunately we can’t have anything hanging around our neck. When deer hunting with a bolt action style rifle, we carry them on our shoulder and the bino harness is great then! Thanks for watching
Feedback for AGM, it would be great if they modified their zoom capability to go both ways (zoom in and zoom out) without having to cycle all the way through. When hunting coyotes let's say you are on the 2nd zoom level and you want to zoom out for more field of view it's time consuming when seconds count to zoom all the way in before finally landing on the least zoom setting. Optimal solution would be a + button and a - button.
@@TheLateNightVisionShow my only hands on experience is with the Rattler. Not sure if they have since improved the zoom function in later models like the new sidewinder. Overall I think AGM products are the best value $ for $ on the market.
Feel free to give Hans, Ashley or Jason a call at Outdoor Legacy and they’ll be glad to answer your questions and tell you how they all compare. 877-350-1818
I am not impressed whatsoever with the agm asp micro tm160 The truth is you get about 60' of clear imand then it all goes to crap after that Everything is completely foggy If you put it on the mode where the little x will find the hotspot that kind of helps you. But out to a 125 yd you can't make up whatever animal it is that you're looking at I would not waste the $400. Or maybe I have a faulty product. I would also add that Black hot is your best option On this unit
It sounds like your unit is working perfectly. Whew it comes to thermal, you truly get what you pay for and to date, you can’t get quality thermal for under $1200-$1500 bare minimum. .
@The Late Night Vision Show Yes I totally understand. But that's why I purchased it was just for a scanner which does its job. I have higher end thermals on my weapons. Along with night vision. Thank you for your quick response. It does find animals for sure. It will locate those blobs So you can get on to the rifle and do further examination. But I believe that's the meaning of the product. Love watching your reviews on the newest and latest Night optics
I was typing out a question about the lanyard attachment and then you answered my question in the video. Looking forward to the 640 review!
Awesome! Thanks for watching...

@@TheLateNightVisionShow been low 30’s to mid 40’s at night.
That’s nearly winter temps here.😂
Is the image quality of the sidewinder tm35 640 better than the image of the rattler ts35 640?

Yes I own one and superb image even when humidity is high!

Thanks Will! Are you speaking about the Sidewinder or about your Rattler? Or both?

Can this monocular also be used as a clip-on with a day time scope, LPVO or red dot? TM25/TM35?
I don't believe so. These are purely handheld monoculars. Not designed to be mounted.
Correct!
No sir this is a handheld thermal. It cannot be weapon mounted and is not rated for recoil.
Thank you all for the responses.
If this came in a NOX 18/35 size unit in 384 with qd that'd be great and worth it.
Thanks for watching! We agree...
How does the AGM Sidewinder compare to the Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 and the AGM Fuzion TM35-384
