I really like this '62 409 convertible. And why I like it more than most '62 409 convertibles, and this is gonna sound crazy, is that this one is a 409 convertible with no powe4r assist anything. It even has manual steering. The reason for what I just said is that Ford wouldn't put power steering or even power brakes in their 406 Galaxies even if they were 500XL convertibles.

I believe there were 3 HP options for the 409 with 425 HP being the most. I owned 2, 64 verts in my youth
