I've had an MPC for a while now, and I'm quick with it and feel like I know it well, but you always teach me things I didn't even know it could do! Thank you so much for taking the time to make these great tutorials.
When i try to convert sequence then some audio is missing like drums for example and other melodies.. don't know what to do with it or how to have the whole melody on new sequence..I did the same thing as u did but still some things mising..
I make them myself for my own productions. I have one coming soon which will be for sale on my website but it’s not ready just yet. In the meantime I can put something together for you if you like, send me an email detailing what you want and I’ll let you know prices etc.
I feel the same way about my X. I can make beats but i know there are tons i don't know about it. Smh I wish i could sit down with someone like him to show me hands on.
Marcel Miller I bought the Bible. I’ve haven’t had the time to dive in but, I hear it is one of the best resources out there besides TubeDigga and maybe MPC Head.
All completely different but if I was to generalise or not, the MPCx outshines all of them. The control surface, the screen, the functionality, the sound quality. Octatrack is exceptionally brilliant as an experimental live device and is amazing in it's own right, it feels very scientific as most Elektron stuff does. If I'm to be totally honest though, without sounding harsh. I don't like the pads/buttons, too noisy/tappy, and struggles slightly in the studio as the audio can only come out of 4 outputs, so sharing all the amazing sounds it can make gets compromised in my opinion. It just doesn't have either the physical outputs or internal routings as the X does. And I've shown you can program to do many of the glitchy experimental things on the MPC, or at least emulate them. The 707 has an amazing sound engine, but the sample editing and file management is somewhat limited and nowhere near as 'DAW' like as MPC. The sequencer is great and the live performance aspects are also very good, if slightly limited in some areas. It sounds great and the filters and EQs are exceptional and can produce some extreme frequencies.
@@TUBEDIGGA thanks for your input. I have an old Akai DPS24 recording studio and it's huge. I'm a bit weary about getting the Akai MPCX because of its size. I can get a MPCX for £1400, the mc 707 for £700 or the octatrack mk2 for £850. I think size will play a part. I also use the iMac with logic Pro X. I want something that can time stretch because I'll be recoding guitar too. I think the MPCX is the only machine with the hi-z input for guitars. I don't know if the MPCXs main screen is OLED like it's smaller screens are. I like OLED because it's crisp. I watch your videos and you seem a whiz on that MPCX. Keep up the good work bud!!
@@portman1574 I actually sucked it up and ordered the MPC X which I'll get next Friday. I'm still getting the one but I'm just gonna use it for travel. I also ordered the Roland JDXI synth for sound design purposes, a decent 10 input Yamaha mixer with effects, and a Audio Technica AT4050 Microphone and a live PA system setup. Kind of went on a spending spree but all in the name of investing in my future. Ya know. You gotta spend it to get more back. Lol more importantly I just love music and playing with sounds. Got tired of using the computer and wanted to get back to a hardware based system.
I love you Tube Digga . You will have nice spot in heaven because of this free tutorials . Respect from Split Croatia :)

What's better.. Octatrack, mc 707 or MPCX?
