It was a disappoint to hear that Fr. Matthew Magee would no longer be seen here on UA-cam celebrating the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I became an ardent viewer doing COVID and will be going back to Mass, physically and God willingly, on Pentecost Sunday. For those who need this ministry, stay faithful in knowing that God hears all our prayers. Blessed success to Fr. Magee wherever he is taken.
It has been one of the best things this past year to "attend" Mass with Fr. Matt Magee as the celebrant. I've known him since he was a Deacon, now this week, he celebrates 5 years of bring a priest. For those of you that don't know him, he is consistently kind, consistently honest, he won't just tell you what you want to hear but is unassuming and merciful, wise beyond his years, slow to anger (if he gets angry he doesn't show it), he is a truly one that is worthy of being called a Vicar of Christ. All of us, kids and even pets it seemed, groaned in disappointment that this is his last Mass in this manner. He will be missed. God bless Fr. Matt always.
